Predict NowBihar DCECE 2024 counselling will commence in August 2024 tentatively in online mode. Candidates who qualified in the DCECE result 2024 will be eligible to participate in the counselling. The DCECE counselling 2024 include registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, etc. Candidates must first register for counselling before the deadline and upload the required documents. The DCECE 2024 seat allotment will be done as per the candidate's rank, the choice provided, seats available in participating colleges, etc. The document verification round will be held in offline mode.

The following are the steps included in the DCECE counselling 2024 process:
Step 1: Register online
To register for the counselling round, candidates must go onto the official BCECEB website and click on the registration link. During the DCECE 2024 counselling registration candidates need to submit details like their roll number, name and date of birth, father's name, address, cellphone number, and so on.
Step 2: Complete DCECE Option Entry 2024
After completing the DCECE 2024 counselling registration process, candidates will be asked to fill out the option entry form. In the option entry, candidates must choose their preferred institutes in which they wish to get admission in from the list t published on the board's official website. Candidates will be asked to lock and submit their final choices after picking their chosen institutes. Following that, applicants must acquire a printout of their choice filling form for future reference.
Step 3: DCECE Provisional Seat Allotment
After completing the DCECE choice-filling process, Candidates will receive their provisional seat assignment letter online. Candidates can view and download their DCECE 2024 provisional seat allotment letter by logging into the official BCECEB website. Candidates will be assigned seats based on the choices they filled during option entry, their entrance exam scores, and the availability of seats in the different courses/streams and institutes in Bihar. Candidates must print their provisional seat assignment letter and save it for future reference.
Step 4: Document Verification
DCECE 2024 document verification round will be held in offline mode. Candidates who have received a DCECE seat allotment letter must then visit their assigned institutes to finish the admission procedure. At the time of document verification, candidates must verify that they have all of the necessary papers and certificates. After the DCECE 2024 document verification round, applicants must log in again for the final seat allocation and pay the entrance fee to secure their seat at the assigned college.
At the time of registering for the counseling, the candidates will also have to fill their choices for the preferred college. The candidates must keep in mind the following points related to Bihar DCECE 2024 choice filling & locking:
The choice filling can be done at the time of registering for the counselling process. Through the process, the candidates will have to enter their choice of colleges & branches to which they want to get admission
It must be noted that priority numbers must be provided to the choices, for example, 1,2,3,4, and so on. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of priority numbers provided by the candidates
The candidates are advised to choose as many colleges & branches as possible to maximize their chances of admission
The candidates can edit their choices until the last date of choice filling. The candidates must lock their choices on the last date or else the last filled choices will be automatically saved. No changes will be allowed after choice locking
Registration, choice filling & locking will be done through OTP which will be sent to the registered number and email of the candidates. The candidates are not allowed to change their registered email ID and mobile number
The choice filling & locking is a one-time process. The candidates who fail to fill their choices for the first round of counseling will not be allowed to fill the choices in subsequent rounds too
The candidates must take a printout of the choice filling form and save it for future reference
