The college prepares a merit list based on the marks scored by applicants in their qualifying degree (bachelor’s or master’s degree), and preference is given to those with a higher score. Some colleges also conduct a GD (Group Discussion) or PI (Personal Interview), in which participants are asked about their goals, ambitions, and reasons for interest in the degree programme.
