Entrance Exam for Telangana B.Ed. Admission

TS EDCET is an important B.Ed entrance exam that is conducted in Telangana for admission to the B.Ed course. Aspiring students aiming to secure a B.Ed admission across various colleges in Telangana need to successfully clear the TS EDCET 2024 entrance exam. Local candidates will be admitted to 85% of seats in each process, with 15% remaining unreserved. Those candidates who are local and have lived in the state for ten years or more, excluding their study elsewhere, are eligible for the remaining 15% of unreserved seats. Candidates whose parents work for the State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local Bodies, Universities etc. within the State of Telangana shall be considered for the 15% unreserved seats.

Step 1: Registration

The Telangana B.Ed 2024 counselling process begins with the registration process where candidates participating in the counselling round need to login and pay the fee. The applicants have to make sure that they attend the counselling process between September 20 to September 30, 2024. 

Step 2: Pay the Fees

Candidates had to pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 800 and INR 500 for SC/ ST applicants for registration and verification. The payment must be made online (Credit Cards/ Debit Cards/ Internet Banking) in favour of the 'Secretary, TSCHE', Masab Tank, Hyderabad.

Step 3: Certificate Verification

For certificate verification, applicants have to visit the helpline centre with all appropriate documents. After certificate verification, candidates can pick up their certificates from the centre. B.Ed applicants should carefully review the receipt for any discrepancies in details and have them fixed as soon as possible.

Step 4: Exercising Web Options

During the Telangana B.Ed web options process, applicants already on the eligibility list will only be allowed to fill out the web options. While exercising web options, candidates must choose both a college and a degree programme to pursue.

Step 5: Seat Allotment

The seat allotment list will contain the names of the students who are eligible for the Telangana B.Ed admission 2024 process. The allotment list is prepared after evaluating the rank of the aspirant, the category of the candidate, the preferred college or institution of the candidate and the availability of seats.

Step 6: Final Admission

During the final admission process of Telangana B.Ed 2024, candidates need to visit the colleges assigned to them with their original certificates, fee-paid challan and joining letter.  Original certificates will be verified at the designated college.

To take part in the counselling process of Telangana B.Ed admission 2024, candidates have to upload important documents online, which are as follows:

Telangana B.Ed 2024 Choice Filling

  • A candidate who was allotted a seat in Phase I but he/ she cancelled the admission.

  • To exercise their web choices, candidates should click on the designated 'Web Options' link, available during specific dates within the seat allotment phase.

  • To access the web choices, candidates will need to input their login credentials established during the registration process.
  • When selecting their desired college/course preferences, candidates should exercise caution in their choices.
  • Keep in mind that once options are frozen, they cannot be altered. However, the opportunity to edit options will be provided on designated dates.
  • To avoid the disappointment of missing out on a seat, applicants are advised to explore as many choices as feasible.
