UP B.Ed Eligibility Criteria 2021

In order to get eligible for admission to colleges in UP, the examination board has certain stringent requirements that must be met by all the candidates. The eligibility criteria which must be fulfilled by the candidates for B.Ed admission in UP are given below:

  • The candidate must have cleared a degree in graduation from Science, Social Science or Humanities stream from a recognized university/institute with a minimum score of 50%.

  • The candidate who has pursued a degree in BA or B.Tech in any specialization must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 55% (45% for the reserved candidates) in the qualifying exam.

  • The candidates who are appearing for the final exam can also apply for B.Ed admission in UP.

  • There is no upper age limit to apply for admission.

UP B.Ed Admission Process 2021

After the UP B. Ed entrance exam is conducted, the students who qualify for the test will be called for the counselling process. Admission to all the private and government colleges in UP is strictly done on the basis of merit obtained by the student in the entrance exam. Through the counselling process, the candidates can choose the college in which they want to take admission and pay the admission fee to secure their seat in the B. Ed program. The candidates can also go for direct admission to the college using their scorecard of the entrance test.
