UP B.Ed Admission 2020 - The UP B.Ed JEE Counselling 2020began on November 19, 2020. The following article will overview the list of documents required to fill the UP B.Ed JEE Counselling application form 2020. Bachelor of Education is a 2-year undergraduate program that is pursued by the students who want to pursue a career in the field of teaching. The students with a degree in B.Ed can become a teacher in any elementary, higher or senior secondary school. In Uttar Pradesh, an entrance exam is conducted for offering admission to students in the B.Ed program which is a state-level entrance exam. All the students who want to take admission to the B.Ed program in various institutes/colleges of UP have to qualify the UP B.Ed Entrance exam. The given article will cover the overall information pertaining to B.Ed admission in Up including the application form, admission process, fees and colleges in UP.

UP B.Ed Eligibility Criteria 2020

In order to get eligible for admission to colleges in UP, the examination board has certain stringent requirements that must be met by all the candidates. The eligibility criteria which must be fulfilled by the candidates for B.Ed admission in UP are given below:

  • The candidate must have cleared a degree in graduation from Science, Social Science or Humanities stream from a recognized university/institute with a minimum score of 50%.

  • The candidate who has pursued a degree in BA or B.Tech in any specialization must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 55% (45% for the reserved candidates) in the qualifying exam.

  • The candidates who are appearing for the final exam can also apply for B.Ed admission in UP.

  • The candidate must be of minimum 14 years of age at the time of applying. There is no upper age limit to apply for admission.

B.Ed Admission in Uttar Pradesh: Application Form

The application form for the UP B.Ed entrance exam is released by the examination authority in the month of February to April. The candidates who are interested to apply for the exam must visit the official website to apply for the exam. The complete process to fill the application form for the UP B. Ed entrance exam are given below:

  • The candidates will have to visit the official website for the UP B.Ed entrance exam.

  • The new candidates will have to register on the portal using the email, contact, and a password which will be further used by the candidates to log in to the portal.

  • After the registration is completed, the students will have to log in and click on the link to apply online.

  • The candidates will have to fill the complete application form using all the important details such as name, father’s name, address, educational qualification, etc.

  • The candidates will also need to upload scanned photographs and signatures after completing the filling of the form.

  • Further, the candidates will have to pay an application fee through the payment portal using credit/debit/net banking.

  • After completion of application fee payment, the candidates are advised to download and store the application form for future reference.

B.Ed Admission in Uttar Pradesh: Admission Process

After the UP B. Ed entrance exam is conducted, the students who qualify for the test will be called for the counselling process. Admission to all the private and government colleges in UP is strictly done on the basis of merit obtained by the student in the entrance exam. Through the counselling process, the candidates can choose the college in which they want to take admission and pay the admission fee to secure their seat in the B. Ed program. The candidates can also go for direct admission to the college using their scorecard of the entrance test.
