AP EDCET 2023: AP EDCET exam date 2023 has been released by the conducting body. AP EDCET 2023 will be held on May 20, 2023, and the application process is expected to begin in February 2023.
AP EDCET 2022:As per the revised AP EDCET 2022 counselling schedule, the web options process for the Phase 1 that commenced from January 25, 2023, will conclude on January 27, 2023. Applicants can change the web selection on January 28, 2023. The first phase seat allotment results will be published on January 30, 2023. Candidate reporting to the assigned colleges will be organised from January 31, 2023 to February 3, 2023.
Prior to that aspirants could register for AP EDCET counselling until October 31, 2022.The choice filling for AP EDCET which was scheduled from November 9 - 11 was postponed.
The Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (AP EDCET) is conducted every year by the Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, Amravati (APSCHE). AP EDCET is conducted to grant admission to the aspirants seeking entry into the regular 2-year B.Ed course offered by the colleges of Education in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Students who have completed their BA/ B.Sc, BCA, B.Com, BBM, BE or B.Tech can apply for the AP EDCET 2023 examination. Candidates pursuing their final year of study in the above-mentioned degree courses are also eligible to apply for the exam.
The minimum age limit to apply for AP EDCET is 19 years and there is no maximum age bar to apply for it. The AP EDCET 2023 exam consists of 150 questions in MCQ format which the candidates have to answer within the allocated 120 minutes, i.e 2 hours. There are four sections in the examination, namely General English, General Knowledge, Teaching Aptitude and Methodology. For every correct answer, students will be awarded +1 mark and there is no negative marking.
