GUBEDCET Application Form 2023

The application form for GUBEDCET 2023  was released on 06 July 2023 and the last date to fill the application form was 25 July 2023. The candidates had to fill the application form online only by following the steps given below:

• Visit the official website of exam conducting body.
• Upon reaching the homepage, select the link designated for the online application.
• Complete the form by inputting crucial information, including personal and educational details. It is imperative to ensure that all information corresponds accurately to your official documents, as they will undergo verification during the admission process.
• Upload a scanned copy of your signature and photograph following the specified format.
• Once all the necessary fields are filled, proceed by clicking the appropriate button, which will redirect you to the payment gateway.
• Finalize the application process by remitting the required application fee.
• Retrieve and save a copy of the completed application form for potential future use.
• The candidates who fill the application form will have to pay a certain application fee to complete the application process. The application fee can be paid in online mode using either Debit/ credit/ net banking methods. The application fee + entrance exam fee for GUBEDCET 2023 for all the candidates will be INR 1700 plus additional banking charges, if any.

GUBEDCET Eligibility 2023

Guwahati University imposes strict regulations regarding candidate eligibility for the entrance test. Only individuals who meet the specified criteria will be granted permission to participate in the examination. GUBEDCET Exam Pattern 2023

It encompasses four sections: General English, General Knowledge, Mental Ability, and Current India Education. The paper carries a total of 400 marks, distributed across these sections. Each correct response earns 4 marks, while an incorrect answer results in a deduction of 1 mark. Notably, unanswered questions do not incur any positive or negative marking.

GUBEDCET Result 2023

After GUBEDCET 2023 exam is conducted, Guwahati University will release the results within 10-15 days in the form of a merit list. The merit list will consist of the names of all the candidates who have qualified for the entrance test. The candidates who have their names on the list will be eligible for the further counseling process and further, if all goes well in the counselling process they will be allotted a seat in the desired college.

Tie Breaking Policy for GUBEDCET Result

In case of a tie between two or more candidates, the examination authority will consider the following tie-breaking policy to make the decision:

• The candidate having a higher ratio of negative: positive marking will be considered.

• In case of resolution by sections, the candidate having more score in Section A/B/C/D will be considered.

• The candidate having the lowest number of unanswered questions in respective sections (A/B/C/D) will be considered.

• In case the decision is not made on the above-mentioned resolutions, the examination authority will be responsible for making the final decision.

GUBEDCET Admit Card 2023

For the candidates who have registered for GUBEDCET 2023, admit card will be released at least one week before the exam. The candidates who have filled the application form can visit the official website and download the GUBEDCET admit card.

The GUBEDCET 2023 admit card will consist of all the important exam details such as time, venue, schedule, candidate details, etc. It is compulsory for all the candidates to bring a hard copy of the GUBEDCET admit card to the exam hall or else they won’t be allowed to sit for the examination.
