60 Marks in JENPAS UG 2025 Means Which Rank?

Students who score 60 marks in JENPAS UG 2025 may be placed at an expected rank between 1045 and 1076. Based on the past year's trends and the expected difficulty level of the current year’s exam, any score of 80 marks or above will be considered a good score in the exam. Admission Chances with 60 Marks in JENPAS UG 2025

The chances of admission with 60 marks in JENPAS UG 2025 are very slim for the General category students. The admission cutoff for the General category students is usually very high and is in the range of 80 to 90 marks on average. With 60 marks in JENPAS UG 2025, students belonging to this category will not get any government college admission in the state. On the other hand, students who are from the SC and ST have a decent chance of securing admission with 60 marks in the entrance exam. They are likely to get admission into the top government colleges as well as the other two-tier government colleges for paramedical and nursing courses. While the OBC category students still stand a chance to get into government colleges with 60 marks in the entrance test, they may not get admission to the top-tier government colleges.
The chances of admission usually depend on several factors, like the exam difficulty level, previous years’ cutoff ranks, and the overall performance of the students who appear in the exam. If the exam difficulty level is higher this year, even OBC category students with 60 marks in the entrance exam will be eligible to get admission into the top-tier government colleges in West Bengal. At LPU, you don’t always have to appear for an entrance test to get admission. The university conducts its own entrance exam called LPUNEST, which is used for admissions and scholarship eligibility, but students with strong scores in national exams like JEE Mains or good academic records in class 12 can often secure direct admission without taking LPUNEST. LPU also provides easy online application procedures and guidance, making the admission process student-friendly.
