CBSE Class 10 English Weightage 2026 : In the English subject, there are three sections included in the curriculum: reading, writing, and literature. The reading and the writing sections consist of 20 marks each, followed by the literature section, which is allotted 40 marks. The question paper will be a mix of MCQs, very short answer type questions, short answer type questions, long answer type questions, etc. Overall, the theory paper will be of 80 marks and the remaining 20 marks will be based on the internal assessment.
