CBSE Class 12 Updated Question Paper Pattern 2026
Do not forget to download the latest CBSE Class 12 Exam Pattern 2026 to check the updated question paper pattern since a lot of new changes have been made to the CBSE curriculum. However, the 2016 question paper can be used for practice, but you must keep in mind that the question paper pattern for 2026 is a little bit different. You can check out the changes made to the curriculum by CBSE and the updated question paper pattern below:
- From the academic year 2026, 50% of the question paper will consist of competency-based questions, MCQs, case-based questions, source-based integrated questions, data interpretation, or situational problems.
- In the next part, which is around 20% of the question paper, will be filled with selected responses that is MCQ type questions.
- In the last part of the question paper, that is, the remaining 30% of the question paper, will consist of constructed-response questions, including short and long answers.
