GTU Grading & Evaluation System (Latest)

The GTU grading and evaluation system is followed by the guidelines prescribed by the university. In the exam, there are two parts of the system in which a student's assessment is conducted as per the grading and evaluation system of Gujarat Technological University . Students are expected to clear all tests and exams to pass a particular semester.

Level 1

All students must appear for an internal assessment, which accounts for 30% of the total marks. The internal assessment is again split into two components - 20 marks for the mid-term examination and 10 for the internal evaluation.

Level 2

The students must appear for the semester exams of their respective courses conducted by the Gujarat Technological University. This exam carries 70% weightage of the total marks.

According to the GTU grading scale , by the end of the semester, the marks obtained in the internal assessment (a maximum of 30 marks) and semester exams (a maximum of 70 marks) will be added and converted into a grading system whose alphabet will be demarcated.
