Maharashtra BSc Agriculture Admission 2022: The Maharashtra B.Sc Agriculture CAP 2022 application form final date has been extended to September 30, 2022. The application form was made available on September 15, and the deadline for submission was September 25, 2022, according to the published schedule. However, in response to emails from students, parents, and agricultural institutes, Maharashtra's CET Cell has extended the deadline to September 30.

Maharashtra B.Sc Agriculture Admission 2022 application forms are now available at cetcell.mahacet.org and ug.agriadmissions.in. Candidates who are eligible can register for the counselling process by providing basic information such as their name, mobile number, date of birth, and location, and then creating a password to access the application form via their registered login. Keep the auto-generated application ID handy for future logins.

 The Online Admission Process for BSc Agriculture in Maharashtra is managed by the Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research (MCAER). Candidates with a valid score in MHT CET are eligible to register for the BSc Agri admission. Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra BSc Agriculture Admission 2022

Following are the minimum eligibility criteria for B.Sc courses in Agriculture:

  • The minimum age of the candidate to apply for B.Sc courses must be 16 years at the time of application.

  • The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12th (General category). SC/ ST/ Handicapped must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the Intermediate studies.

  • The candidates must have passed 10+2 in PCM or PCMB and English from Maharashtra State Board of Higher Education or equivalent exam.

  • Appearing for MHT CET with PCM/ PCB in the year of application.

Maharashtra BSc Agriculture Application Form 2022

Following are the step-by-step procedures to fill in the online application form for Maharashtra B.Sc Agriculture:

Step 1: Fill in the Online Application Form

Candidates must visit the official website of Maharashtra Agriculture Admission (https://ug.agriadmissions.in/) to fill in the online application form. A candidate can fill in only one application at a time. In case, two applications are submitted, the application that is submitted last will be considered invalid.

All applications will be accepted in online mode only. No application through postal mail will be accepted.

Candidates who are applying through the Institute Quota or Minority Quota must also fill in the online application form and upload the required documents.

Step 2: Upload the Required Documents

The candidates will have to upload the required documents after filling the application form. The candidates who scan their documents via M/S. KTPL, Pune centers will have to pay 5rs. per documents for scanning. Following are the documents that must be uploaded with the application form:

  • Scanned copy of candidate's signature

  • Scanned copy of the passport-sized photograph

  • Original copy of necessary academic documents

Step 3: Application Fees

There is no application fee to apply online for Maharashtra B.Sc. Agricultural courses. However, the candidates who have not appeared in MHT-CET for the academic year will have to pay an application fee of INR 800/-. (600/- for reserved & handicapped) through an online payment gateway.

Documents Required

Candidates must log in on the official website and upload the following documents:

  • Marksheet of Qualifying examination. If the percentage obtained in Class XII is not mentioned in the documents then it must be signed by the Principle of the College.

  • Scorecard of Common Entrance Test

  • Class X Marksheet

  • School/College Leaving certificate

  • Candidates who are already studying at Agricultural University in Maharashtra must submit a Bonafide Certificate.

  • Migration Certificate, in case a candidate from another State is not able to produce a Leaving Certificate.

  • Domicile Certificate, mentioning the birthplace from Maharashtra State or other State

  • Caste validity certificate, if applicable

  • Certificate of Games/Sports/Debate / Essay/ Elocution issued by the District Sports Officer, if applicable 

Maharashtra BSc Agriculture Merit List 2022 will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by candidates in MHT-CET. The merit list will be made available on the official website (https://ug.agriadmissions.in/). Candidates can view the merit list and download it from it. The merit list will not be communicated to the candidates separately via post or telecommunication. Following the publication of the 'Provisional Merit List,' each candidate must go online and confirm whether his/her name, category, marks, weightages, and so on are correct.

The candidates who have complaints about the provisional merit list should present their grievance ‘online’ using their ‘Login ID’ and ‘Password’ which are received at the time of registration of admission on or before the date mentioned as per the schedule. If the applications for grievances from the candidates are not received in online format within the stipulated time period then his / her grievance shall not be taken into consideration.

Maharashtra BSc Agriculture Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2022

Based on the merit list prepared, candidates must attend the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for admission in undergraduate Agriculture courses at Maharashtra Agricultural Institutes.

There are three options that a candidate can opt for before accepting the seat allotment through CAP. Check details here:

Freeze option allows candidates to accept the seat allotted to them. After selecting the freeze option, candidates cannot appear in further rounds of the counselling process.

Float option allows candidates to accept an offer in the Institute. However, Later on, if a seat is allotted in a higher institution, the candidate can accept the new offer.

Once a seat is allotted to the candidate, He/ She must visit the concerned college for document verification. The candidate must pay a seat acceptance fee of INR 1000/-. to lock their allotted seats after the document verification. Payment can be done online.

Once the admission is confirmed through the CAP counselling process, the candidate must visit the allotted institute to verify the original documents. The candidate must pay the semester fee for the institute and collect the receipt of payment of fees from the Institute to complete the admission process.

List Of Documents Required for Admission

Following are the important documents that must be carried at the allotted college for seat allotment confirmation:

  • Candidates must carry with them the Printed copy of the provisional admission allotment letter to confirm the seat at the allotted Institute. It can be downloaded by login into the official website.

  • Domicile Certificate

  • MHT-CET/ AIEEA-UG common entrance examination Scorecard

  • Class X and XII mark sheet

  • College Leaving/ Transfer Certificate/ Bonafide Certificate

  • Caste Validity certificate, if applicable

  • Certificate of Physically Handicapped (PH), if applicable

According to Rajasthan JET 2021 cutoff marks, students did get a seat in government colleges who secured 178+ marks for the requested category.  In Rajasthan JET 2022, the cutoff marks may increase.
