A person who has passed 10+2 examination in Medical group in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually both in Theory as well as practical & must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) conducted by a recognized Board/Council/University.

A person who passed 10+2 vocational course (X-Ray Techniques) in all the vocational course subjects of Radiation Physics, Radiography-I General, Radiography-II Special, Biology & English individually both in theory as well as in practical & must have obtained 50% aggregate marks in the 3 vocational subjects and Biology conducted by a recognized Board/Council/University”.
OR
A person wh o has passed Part –I of B.Sc medical recognized by Panjab University.
OR
A person holding qualification of diploma in Radiography/X-ray Techniques must have obtained aggregate of minimum 50% marks & passed all the subjects individually from any recognized Board/Council/University shall also be eligible provided he /she joined diploma course after passing 10+2 examination with Science (physics, chemistry and biology) subjects.
A candidate must have come in the merit list of NEET-PG 2017 by securing following minimum marks:
General Category: not less than 50 percentile
SC Category: not less than 40 Percentile
* If the Central Government in consultation with Medical Council of India may at its discretion lower the minimum marks required for admission to Post Graduate Course for candidates belonging to respective categories then these marks so lowered by Ma Central Government shall be applicable for admission to the MD/MS courses in GMCH also for the academic year 2017 only.
The candidates should have completed compulsory rotatory internship satisfactorily by 31 March, 2017.
Registration wan MCl/State Medical Council is necessary.
A candidate must have come in the merit list of NEET-PG 2017 by securing following minimum marks:

Only candidates whose names appear in the NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (SESSION 2017-18) FOR ADMISSION TO MBBS/BDS COURSES (NEET (UG)- 2017) merit list of successful candidates prepared by CBSE for MBBS/BDS will be eligible to apply for MBBS/BDS/BHMS. The merit list of NEET will also apply to Foreign Indian Student/NRI/PIO category candidates for admission in MBBS/BDS as well as for BHMS course.
Every candidate seeking admission should have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, 2017.
Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply under the categories of UT Chandigarh Pool & All India Quota.
A candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology & English individually in the qualifying 12th standard examination or other equivalent qualifying examination.
A candidate must have secured following minimum percentage of marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together in 12th standard examination or other equivalent qualifying examination: General category: not less than 50% SC/ST category: not less than 40% Physical Disability category: not less than 45%
A candidate appearing/appeared in the qualifying 12th Standard examination or other equivalent qualifying examination in 2017 where result is awaited can also apply. However he/she shall not be eligible for admission, if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage of marks prior to the first round of Counseling. He/she will be allowed to attend first counseling only if detailed marks certificate of the above said examination is submitted prior to or at the time of first counseling, failing which he/she will be declared ineligible for admission year 2017 and his/her application will be rejected.
The candidates (including Foreign Indian Student/NRI/PIO category candidates) must have come in the merit list of NEET (UG)-2017 for MBBS/BDS by securing following minimum marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology taken together: General category: not less than 50th Percentile SC/ST category: not less than 40th Percentile Physical Disability category: not less than 45th Percentile
Admission will be made strictly on the basis of rank/merit obtained in NEET (UG)-2017.
