National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) admission process starts mainly from February to June/July every year for postgraduate courses. NITIE Mumbai admission process is only available in online mode.

NITIE offers postgraduate courses and fellowships in management as well. For international candidates, 15% of the approved intake (in supernumerary quota) will be reserved for international students in the above PG courses offered by NITIE. Entry level qualification shall be at par with that of the Indian students and candidates should have a valid GRE score.

Foreign candidates should have a valid TOEFL/ IELTS score also. TOEFL/ IELTS score of more than two years old will not be considered. All international candidates will have to submit an SOP (Statement of purpose) and two LORs (Letters of recommendations).

NITIE Mumbai PGDM Eligibility Criteria 2020

For PGDIE/PGDMM/PGDPM admissions, the candidate must have 60% marks in graduation. Candidates belonging reserved categories must have scored 55% marks. Candidates appearing in the final year of education can also apply for admission. Besides this candidates must have appeared for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

NITIE Mumbai PGDM Application Process 2020

First, the candidates are required to register on the official website of GATE i.e. GOAPS. Applicants seeking admission in PGDIE/PGDMM/PGDPM have to fill the application form through the official admission portal and the application form fee is INR 1000 for general and OBC candidates and INR 500 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. The application fee can be paid through the payment gateway. Candidates need to submit their final year mark sheet along with the provisional certificate. Besides this, candidates need to upload scanned copy of photograph and signature.

NITIE Mumbai PGDM Selection Process 2020

NITIE admissions are done on the basis GATE score and other factors. Check out the step by step process for NITIE Mumbai PGDM selection process 2020 in the detail below:

Shortlisting of Applicants: The applicant should have a valid GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score at the time of admission with 60% aggregate (marks relaxable by 5% in case of SC/ST/PWD (physically disabled candidates) at graduation in Engineering/Technology.

Group Discussion: The shortlisted candidates will be called to take part in the group discussion at the specified venue. Group Discussion will have specific weightage in the selection process.

Personal Interview: After the group discussion, the candidates will be called for the personal interview. The candidates must note that personal interviews will also have a specific weightage in the selection process.

Final Selection: After GD and PI, the final evaluation of candidates will be based on the performance in GATE, group discussion, and personal interview.

NITIE Mumbai PGDIM/ PGDISEM Eligibility Criteria 2020

For PGDIM/PGDISEM admissions, candidates must have 60% marks in full-time degree in engineering/technology and the candidate must have appeared for CAT exam. Seats are available for the sponsored candidates in PGDISEM. Sponsored candidates must be from a reputed industrial organization/academic institutions. The candidates belonging from any of the reserved categories(SC/ ST and Pwd) must have an aggregate 65% marks in Engineering/Technology. CAT score is not required for sponsored candidates. However, they are required to attend a written test and personal interview to be conducted at the institute. Sponsored candidates should also fill-in the sponsorship form available on the NITIE website.

Before applying for admission in the college, the candidates need to appear for the CAT exam and must carry a valid CAT score.

For PGDIM/PGDISEM admissions, the candidates have to fill the application form on the official website of the college through online mode and the fee for application form is INR 1000 for General and OBC category and for SC/ST/PwD candidates, it is INR 500. Candidates need to submit their final year mark sheet along with the provisional certificate.

NITIE Mumbai PGDIM/PGDISEM Selection Process 2020

The selection process for PGDIM/PGDISEM depends on the CAT score and on the candidate’s performance in GD/PI and previous academic records.

NITIE accepts CAT 2019 (Common Admission Test) scores for shortlisting the candidates for PGDIM and PGDISEM courses.

After GD and PI, the candidates' final evaluation takes place on the basis of the performance in written test (CAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ XAT/ CMAT), group discussion, personal Interview, previous academic performance, extra-curricular activities and work experience (if any).

NITIE Mumbai Fellow Program Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidate with Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering/Technology, Management, Economics, Commerce, Social Sciences, Life Sciences and Pure Sciences with 60% aggregate marks (55% in case of SC/ST/PwD (Person with Disability) candidates) from recognized University/Institution can apply. Candidates appearing for their final examination in the respective disciplines can also apply, provided they qualify the above criteria for examinations appeared at the time of application and submit their result latest by September 30, 2020.

NITIE Mumbai Fellow Program Application Process 2020

For Fellow programs, the eligible candidates can register themselves through the admission portal available on the official college website. The application fee for the general category and OBC candidates is INR 1000 and for SC/ST/PwD candidates it is INR 500. All candidates should submit their research proposals at the time of application submission.

NITIE Mumbai PGPEX-VLFM Eligibility Criteria 2020

Must have a bachelor’s degree with first-class in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech) in any branch. Candidates having work experience of 5-12 years of industrial experience in manufacturing are eligible.

NITIE Mumbai PGPEX-VLFM Application Process 2020

The NITIE Mumbai PGPEX-VLFM application process 2020 is only available in online mode. Applicants will have to submit an SOP (Statement of Purpose) and two LORs (Letters of Recommendations) at the time of application. The application form will be updated online once the admission notifications are released. Candidates who are filling the application form must ensure to attach the relevant DD and the self-attested certificates. Once entering all the details, candidates may proceed to submit the application form. 

NITIE Mumbai PGPEX-VLFM Selection Process 2020

The selection criteria for PGPEX-VLFM is based on the written test, GD and PI score of the candidate. Academic scores will also be considered while preparing the final selection list. Seats are also available for industry-sponsored candidates.
