NIT Rourkela MA Development Studies Admission 2023 - Dates, Application Form, Eligibility
NIT Rourkela has released its notification for filling the application form for taking admission in MA in Developmental Studies Programme for the academic session 2023-25. The official notification for admission in MA in Developmental Studies was released on May 04, 2023. MA in Developmental studies is offered under the Department of Humanities & Social Science. NIT Rourkela application form for MA in Development Studies has to be filled in an online mode. The MA in Developmental studies course offered at NIT Rourkela is offered under normal pace (3 Years) as well as a slow pace (4 Years). The candidates enrolled at a slow pace can complete the course in 4 years and is offered to those candidates who are employed (including self-employment) in industry/ organizations in and around Rourkela.

NIT Rourkela MA Development Studies Application Form 2023
Candidates seeking admission in MA Development Studies programme at NIT Rourkela can fill in the online application by visiting the website https://eapplication.nitrkl.ac.in/.
The candidates must read the instructions carefully and fill and submit online application forms accordingly. The candidate can make payment of the application fee by sending a demand draft in favour of ‘Director National Institute of Technology, Rourkela’, payable at Rourkela. The Application Fees is non refundable Rs 500/- to be paid only through SBI Collect as per the link given on the official portal.
The candidates who will be called for interview after clearing the entrance examination are required to submit the following documents to the HOD on the date of the interview.
- Signed copy of the e-application form
- A set of Xerox copies of all certificates from HSC onwards
The above documents must be sent along with Demand Draft to the ‘Registrar, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha, Pin- 769008’ and it should reach the office in defined time.

NIT Rourkela MA in Development Studies Eligibility Criteria 2023
The eligibility criteria to apply for the course are given below:
- The candidate must hold a BA, BSc, BCom, or BTech degree. The candidates must have qualified the qualifying examination from any stream.
- He/ She must have scored at least 50% or 5.5 /10 CGPA (aggregate CGPA/percentage based on all semesters/years) in the qualifying examination.
