IISc Bangalore Courses & Fees Structure 2024

IISc Bangalore fees is different for each course depending on the duration and curriculum. The institute offers a range of courses, such as B.Sc, M.Tech, M.Des, MMT and Phd programmes. The three year BSc programme, has an annual tuition fee of Rs 50,400. The M.Tech programme has a duration of two years, and the IISc Bangalore fees range from Rs 9,000 to Rs 29,12,574. The M.Des fees range between Rs 20,200 and Rs 29,200 annually. For the MMS programme, the IISc Bangalore fees is Rs 340,000 for two years. Lastly, for the PhD programme, which spans over five years, the fees ranges from Rs 20,200 to Rs 35,200 annually. 

To get enrolled for IISc Bangalore courses, candidates have to meet the respective eligibility criteria. The BSc programme requires a Class 12 pass in PCM stream with a minimum of 60% aggregate (pass marks for SC/ST). For the M.Tech programme at IISc Bangalore, a B.Tech/BE/B.Arch/Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 50% aggregate (pass marks for SC/ST) and a GATE score is required. IISc Bangalore courses like M.Des have similar eligibility criteria as the M.Tech programme. The MMS programme requires a BE/B.Tech degree with a 60% aggregate and a GATE/CAT/GMAT score. Candidates interested in applying for PhD programme require a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline and a GATE/NET JRF score. IISc Bangalore Fee Structure

IISc Bangalore hostel facilities are offered with separate accommodations for female and male students. The men's hostel houses around 2,500 single and double rooms, while the women's blocks accommodate 500. The hostel complex is equipped with utility shops, including a bakery, laundry, cycle repair, hair salon, and pharmacy. Four mess facilities cater to students' dietary preferences, with two serving vegetarian and the other two offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The IISc Bangalore hostel fees for a single room is Rs 400 per month for general students and Rs 200 for SC/ST students. For a double room, the fees is Rs 200 and Rs 100 per month for general and SC/ST students, respectively. Candidates must note that the  IISc Bangalore hostel fees has to be paid along with the course fees during the time of admission.
