The Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) was founded in 2018 under the direction of the Indian government's Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The FDDI campus has been established in five regions and has a total of 12 campuses. In the northern region, there are four campuses namely in Noida, Rohtak, Chandigarh and Chandigarh (Mohali). The institute may offer a 10% fee reduction on the first-year tuition fee (semester by semester) to FDDI students who have completed their bachelor's degree with at least 6.0 CGPA and wish to pursue a master's degree. Students must meet the eligibility requirements for the master's programme. Students must write AIST, and seats will be assigned based on the merit list. This fee reduction is not based on AIST merit.
