FDDI Chandigarh Admission: The deadline to submit the online applications for the AIST 2024 is April 20, 2024 (without late fee) and April 30, 2024 (with late fee). Admission to the courses offered here is done based on the academic performance of the candidates along with the scores obtained by them in the entrance exams. The courses offered here are at both UG and PG levels in the fields of design and retail management. Various specialisations are offered here under the respective programmes at Footwear Design and Development Institute Chandigarh. Each specialisation has an intake of 60 students. The entrance exams accepted are AIST and UCEED. The applications are done online. It is important for all candidates to meet the basic FDDI Chandigarh admission criteria to proceed further with the selection process. The entrance exams will be followed by the counselling session.
The Indian government's Ministry of Commerce and Industry oversaw the establishment of the Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) in 1986. Under the direction of the Indian Ministry of Commerce, the Chandigarh campus was founded in 2008. Candidates have to make it to the cut off list of FDDI Chandigarh or the merit list to secure admission. Candidates who already have a valid UCEED score are exempted from the AIST exam.

All candidates for the FDDI Chandigarh admission procedure must apply online for the All India Selection Test (AIST) 2024.
The application fees are Rs 600 for General/ OBC (Non-Creamy)/ GEN-EWS students and Rs 300 for SC/ ST/ PWD students. Fees must be paid online via credit/debit card/net banking on the FDDI Chandigarh admission portal.
