With a rank of 1700, while belonging to the OBC category, securing admission to the BVSc at GB Pant University is quite challenging, as the cutoff scores for the OBC category are very high. It is not completely impossible, as it depends on category category-specific seat matrix, exam difficulty levels, etc. The cutoff scores vary every year for each category, and there is are chance that students can get a seat in the last counselling rounds. However, a rank lower than 1700 is more competitive, and students may get admission in the BVSc course last counselling rounds at GBPUAT under the OBC category.

Looking at the trends of previous year cutoffs for General category students, it is very difficult for you to get admission with an overall rank of 4467 in UG entrance examination. The usual cutoff for general category has always been between 1000-1100 to get admission at GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. Once the counselling begins and the first round is completed, and if any seats remain vacant, then only a schedule for the second round counselling will be declared on the official website.
