IIT Indore Admission 2024

IIT Indore admission 2024 is ongoing. JEE Main 2024 session 2 registrations are open, with the exam date scheduled for April 4 to April 15. Following qualifying JEE Main, successful candidates need to register for JEE Advanced 2024 and take the exam scheduled on May 26, for IIT Indore B.Tech admission 2024. For M.Tech admission, GATE 2024 exam dates are February 3, 4, 10, and 11. IIT Indore admission in M.Sc requires candidates to appear in IIT JAM 2024 to be held on February 11. The result for the same is scheduled for March 22.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech and B.Tech + M.Tech  at IIT Indore

The candidates who have planned to pursue the undergraduate programmes for technology, then they must have a passing certificate of 10+2 or equivalent exam. The certificate must be issued from a recognised and renowned institution or board of education. A minimum of 60% aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent exam is a must for the candidates. The subject combination must include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The subjects might change depending upon the course opted by the candidates. Candidates must also produce the mark sheet of the entrance exam required for admission in this institution. JEE Advance and/or JEE Main is the entrance that must be attempted by the candidates in order to become eligible for the graduation courses. Aspirants planning for Dual or integrated degree from the institution must also possess the same eligibility criteria.

Application Process for B.Tech and B.Tech + M.Tech at IIT Indore

It is the first step that must be taken very carefully by the aspiring candidates. The state requires candidates to register themselves on the official website of the institution by adding their credentials as asked in the registration form. Before visiting the official site candidates must be sure of the eligibility criteria prescribed for their courses. The Indian Institute of Technology Indore counselling process is applicable only for the shortlisted candidates. This shortlisting is done on the basis of cut-off marks of the entrances encountered by the candidates for the purpose of admission in their desired courses. Shortlisting is also done on the parameters of eligibility criteria prescribed for the offered courses. For the IIT Indore, counselling process candidates will be called to the respective centre along with their academic certificates. Document verification round will take place for these invited candidates and on the basis of the document verification, round candidates will be sent to the personal interview round. This will be followed by the seat allocation round which will be done on the factors considering the performance of the candidates in the interview round. For the candidates appearing for B.Tech courses, the seat allocation will be done through JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority). For further information, candidates are requested to visit the college campus and grab their set of information through the student help centre.

M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have planned to pursue the M.Sc program at the IIT Indore should have a passed the undergraduate degree with minimum 60% marks from any recognized university. And the applicant should have appeared in the JAM entrance exam. JAM is an all India Entrance exam conducted for the admission in the M.Sc program in the IIT’s. JAM score will be is considered according to the applicant's category at the time of admission. And JAM is the only way to be admitted to IIT Indore

In IIT Indore, the admission is done through JAM entrance exam. So to be eligible for the program the candidates need to appear for the JAM entrance exam on the scheduled date and time. In IIT Indore candidates are shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria set by the institute. After that, shortlisted candidates will be called for the counseling process with all their academic certificates. Depending upon the candidate's academic performance & JAM entrance score candidates will be personal interview as the part of the selection. No, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Indore does not offer the Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) programme. The Centre for Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering (BSBE) was initiated at IIT Indore in the year 2012 to promote research and development in areas of Biosciences, Biomedical Engineering and Bioengineering but to get admission opportunity here, you must already hold an M.Pharm degree or M.Tech or MSc in Biological Sciences or any equivalent degree from a recognised university.
