Not in crores in reality
By Saloni Garg | B.Tech in Civil Engineering | 2024

Placement: Placements are not really that great like you heard while preparing for Jee. There are a very few students who get packages in crores but that should also not be the goal of coming here, we are provided with so many facilities to invent and start something of our own which I feel is very less in other colleges

Infrastructure: We have olympic size sports facilities, there’s hardly any sport that you cannot learn here. We have great studying spaces and crores of money is invested into research inventories.

Faculty: most faculty members are ivy league scholars. they can be of great help if you want to pursue research further and have good connections from reputed professors world wide.

Faculty: Every faculty here has to do some research and publish research papers. They are India's most brilliant minds. They are very knowledgeable and willing to teach.

Hostel: Older hostels are not so good but theyare built in a lot of space . View just outside your room is very pretty. New hostels are more like flats but they are premium.

Overall: Most colleges have some student activities or the other. But I think in the breadth of activities that are undertaken, and the passion with which they are pursued sets IIT Bombay apart. In fact, sometimes I wonder what we could achieve if we put in the same amount of effort into curricular/research pursuits.

Placement: The average placement in the college so far at 2024 is 24 lakhs which not seems extraordinary but keep in mind that other colleges which shows high average salary consists limited branch but IIT Bombay has vast cources and situated at the financial capital of India

Infrastructure: It comes under top 10 The civil infrastructure includes all buildings in the academic area, residential hostels for students, staff accommodation of various types, buildings for general facilities, roads, gardens, playgrounds, along with related utilities such as water supply, electricity supply for the whole campus

Faculty: The professors here are are most qualified in India mostly from IISC or IISER anyways as they has their government job in top college in India so their attitudes are also accordingly but they have highest qualification you can expect

Hostel: Here all kinds of hostels are available and charges are also accordingly some hostels are also very old other wise decent if we compare with other colleges hostels
