IITM Janakpuri Scholarship 2026 Overview

Information Technology and Management Janakpuri offers scholarships across three categories: need-based, merit-based, and merit-cum-means financial assistance. All scholarships apply to students enrolled in GGSIPU-affiliated programmes at the institute.

Under need-based scholarships, the EWS Scholarship from GGSIPU and the Merit-cum-Means Financial Assistance from the Government of NCT of Delhi are available to students whose family income is up to INR 2,50,000 per annum. Both require an income certificate issued by an SDM or equivalent government officer.

Under institute merit scholarships, the In-House Merit Scholarship of INR 25,000 per year is awarded to the top three programme-wise university rank holders, provided the 2nd and 3rd rank holders are within competitive range of the 1st rank holder. The Matshree Leelawati Gold Medal — a 5-gram 24K gold medal — is awarded annually to the programme-wise IPU Gold Medal awardee. Subject-wise university toppers receive INR 500 per subject annually.

Conditions for In-House Merit Scholarship:

  • Awarded to up to the first 3 programme-wise university rank holders.
  • 2nd and 3rd rank holders must be in close proximity/competitive range of the 1st rank holder to qualify.
  • The Matshree Leelawati Gold Medal is awarded separately to the IPU Gold Medal awardee (programme-wise university topper).
