Overall Model Engineering College has a strong alumni network, providing valuable mentorship and networking support to current students. While the college’s infrastructure is not as modern as some other institutions, it offers a good value-for-money education. MEC provides a comfortable and secure hostel for ladies with adequate facilities along with a hostel for men.

Placement The college has a strong Placement Cell and Training Cell. The Placement Cell conducts mock placement drives and actual placement drives with companies over. Training Cell trains students with aptitude tests, mock interviews, coding tests and group discussions.

Infrastructure The overall infrastructure is average compared to other colleges. However, there have been upgrades thanks to alumni sponsorships. There are good air conditioned laboratories and halls.

Faculty Quality of faculty varies from branch to branch. Some teachers are good and us their expertise to provide knowledge and advise. Some prefer to follow their method of teaching which need not resonate with the students. All HODs have relevant expertise and experience in their respective fields.

Hostel The Ladies Hostel of MEC is 8-10 mins away from the college. Clean and cozy. It has a good infrastructure, surrounded by lush greenery and basic facilities. Fees come to around 7000 per month including mess and rent.

Hostel Some Indoors games are available inside the hostel only for the students .The hostels are well-maintained, with clean and spacious rooms, adequate security, and essential amenities like Wi-Fi. The mess food is decent, offering a variety of nutritious meals.

Overall One of the good college to pursue engineering. best faculties, better environment. Overall a good experience. students can undoubtedly choose this college.

Overall The technology boom of the 21st century led my curiosity into computer science, and soon that was a clear idea for my future, which I eventually succeeded in pursuing with a B.Tech. in CSE from MEC; it's just the first and most important step.

Placement 100% placements are offered, with INR 33 lacs CTC being the highest and INR 7.5 lacs median salary, by tech giants like IBM, Cognizant, TCS, and Wipro to hire out the students as early as semester 5. Internships and placement drives are brought in by the Placement Cell and Training Cell of MEC.

Infrastructure Infrastructure of model engineering college is pretty okayish. We have 2 blocks of buildings both pretty small so there is not much of campus life if you are coming here expecting it. Some batches are constantly changing classrooms because of space availability.

Faculty With several Ph.D. faculty members and experience gained over 15 years of teaching, the faculty mentor the pupils with industry-ready skills and domains. A B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering is a relatively easy-grasping subject, and the carefully devised curriculum does most of the work

Hostel AC labs and workshops, hostels, and a clean mess are available. Frequent activities in sports and academics are conducted, which keeps up the spirit of the pupils.
