Indiana University-Southeast campus is spread over 179 acres. The location of the University is 15 minutes from north of downtown Louisville, Kentucky, in suburban New Albany, Indiana. It is at the edge of southern Indiana's picturesque "knobs," which is an area of rolling hills that run parallel to the Ohio River. The University offers security services like 24-hour foot and vehicle patrols, lighted pathways/sidewalks, late night transport/escort service, non-remedial tutoring, placement service, health service and health insurance. The most popular majors at Indiana University Southeast include: Business, Management, Marketing, Health Professions, Education, Psychology, Liberal Arts and Humanities.

Indiana University Southeast is part of the NAIA in Sports. The School of Business at IU Southeast is accredited by AACSB International, a prestigious accreditation.
