MET application form 2024 Phase 2 was closed on April 22, 2024. Registered candidates can participate in MET slot booking 2024 from May 4 to 7, 2024, at manipal.edu. According to the MET eligibility criteria 2024, candidates who have completed their class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics were eligible to apply for the BTech course. To take part in the MU OET 2024 entrance exam, candidates had to register online, complete the form, upload necessary documents, and make the required payment through credit card, debit card, or net banking. The MU OET application fee amount for the General category is INR 600 and for the Foreign / NRI / NRI Sponsored category is INR 2500.

MET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria include educational qualification, marks, subjects, nationality, etc. Candidates can check out the MET 2024 eligibility criteria given below. 

Educational Qualification: The candidate must have completed Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and English as obligatory subjects from a recognized Board. Candidates must additionally have studied one of the following optional subjects: Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or other technical vocational.

Minimum qualifying marks: Candidate must have secured 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and any one of the optional subjects in class 12 or A level or IB or American 12th grade or equivalent.

Nationality: Candidates of Indian nationality are eligible to apply. 

Eligibility criteria for counselling process: To be eligible for MET counselling process 2024, candidate must score at least 50% on the entrance examination. 

Step by Step Online Application Process for MET 2024

Candidates must go to the official website of Manipal University to fill the MET 2024 Application form. Remember to read the instructions given in the application form before filling the form.

Step 1: Registration and Password

Candidates must first visit the official website, manipal.edu, and click on the registration link. For registration, the candidate must provide basic information such as the candidate's email address and phone number. A password will be generated for future logins. 

Step 2: Filling up the Application Form

 Next, candidates must fill out the MET application form 2024 with the necessary personal, academic, and contact information. The candidate's name, gender, date of birth, nationality, parent's name, residence, and other information must be provided. All information must be correct and consistent with the candidate's documentation.

Step 3: Selection of Course

Candidates must fill out the details for their 12th standard qualifying exam and choose the program, stream, course, and testing center must be chosen. 

Step 4- Information Correction

Following this, candidates will be able to re-check the information they have given and make any necessary changes. After this stage, no changes may be made.

MET 2024 Slot Booking

The dates for MET Phase 2 slot booking 2024 are May 4 to 7, 2024. Registered candidates can access the MET slot booking 2024 portal by logging in with their Manipal OTBS registration number and password. Through the MET 2024 slot booking candidate must choose their preferred Manipal BTech test date, time, and center. The University will hold the MET 2024 test for students in two phases with students having the option of taking one or both. The booking of MET slots will be done on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the availability of seats at specified test centres.
