About MET (MU OET) 2019

Manipal Entrance Test 2019 or MET 2019, previously known as Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU OET) 2019, is an undergraduate entrance exam conducted by Manipal Academy of Higher Education. It is a national-level exam, which takes place across approximately 50 cities in the country. While Manipal Academy of Higher Education (previously known as Manipal University) invites candidates to take admission into various programmes at the UG and PG level, the exam conducted for B.Tech programmes is the most popular one. MET 2019 is a gateway for candidates to take admission in 16 B.Tech courses offered by different colleges under Manipal University. These institutes include Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Sikkim and Manipal University Jaipur. Candidates are allowed to give the entrance exam as many as three times, as specified by Manipal Academy of Higher Education. The application forms for MET 2019 started on October 10, 2018 and continued until March 15, 2019. The MET 2019 entrance exam for admission to B.Tech engineering colleges will happen in April 2019.
