Manipal University is yet to announce the schedule for the MU OET 2026 exam. However, going by the previous year's trends, the tentative exam dates for this year are April and May 2026. The MU OET slot booking will begin tentatively in the month of May 2026. You can avail a MET slot booking by logging in with your application number & password. The slot booking facility will be available on the first come first serve basis, hence you are advised to book your slots as soon as possible. Your failure to book the slots will result in the authorities assigning your slots automatically. 

Steps for MET Slot Booking 2026

In order to book the slots, you can follow the steps mentioned below:-

Step 1 - Log in

You will first have to visit the official website maniapl.edu and click on the 'MET 2026 slot booking' link. You must enter their application form number and OTBS password (date of birth) in the login window. Then you must change their password as per their preference.

Step 2 - Verification

You must verify the details displayed on the screen and then proceed with 'Book a seat' from the list of test cities available from the dropdown menu.

Step 3 - Book exam date and slot

Next, you must follow the steps below to book their preferred exam slots -

• Choose your preferred exam date
• From the dropdown list, choose the test center.
• The address of the test centre, along with the vacancies available, will be displayed on the screen 
• Book the slot as per the availability 

Step 4 - Confirmation

After choosing the slot, you must confirm it by clicking on 'OK' to proceed. A dialogue box featuring the exam centre address, date, and time will be displayed on the screen. If satisfied with the slot booking, you must click on 'Confirm' or choose 'Cancel' to resume.

You must follow the important instructions before booking the slots.

First Attempt

• The slots will be available for booking on a first-come-first-serve basis
• The allotment will be done as per availability and preference
• Slots once booked cannot be changed 

Second Attempt

Manipal University will be releasing the MU OET admit card individually for both phases. The expected release dates of the MET admit card are in April and May 2026 for phases 1 & 2, respectively. You will be able to download your admit card by logging in with your application number & password. You will also receive the MU OET admit card 2026 via your email. The admit card is a crucial document that you need to carry to your exam centre. You won’t be allowed to sit in the exam without the possession of the admit card. The admit card of MET 2026 will include details such as the exam date & time, exam centre address, name, roll number, etc. Thereafter, after you download the hall ticket of MU OET, you must cross-check all the details and ensure that they are correct.

• Chemistry: The chemistry section will have questions from Chemical kinetics, Gaseous state, Periodic properties, Atomic structure, Oxidation number, Stoichiometry, Chemical bonding 2, Hydrocarbons 2, Solid-state, Coordination compounds, Organic compounds with oxygen 2, Amines, Haloalkanes, etc.
• General English: The question paper will include Spotting errors, Vocabulary, comprehension passage, Sentence improvement, Grammar, etc.
• Mathematics: This section will include topics like the elements of number theory, Trigonometry, Conic sections, Circles, Vectors, Group theory, Matrices & determinants.
• Physics: Questions will be asked from the topics, i.e,. Electrostatics, Physical optics, Current electricity, Dynamics, Geometrical optics, Heat, and Atomic Physics.

The MU OET exam pattern basically defines the structure of the exam. The exam pattern will mention the number of questions, total marks, test duration, and marking scheme of MET 2026. This is an online mode of examination that will consist of 60 multiple-choice questions. Students need to study subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. In the previous year, the MAHE did not release the MET answer key, so it is likely that the Manipal answer key 2026 will not be released this year. The MET result will be released individually for separate phases. In order to access your result, you will have to log in with your email ID & password. MU OET counselling will be held in 3 rounds. You will only be able to take part in MET counselling if you have qualified the counselling. The counselling process includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, cutoff, and the requisite fee payment.
