Before filling the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2020 application form for B.Tech, candidates must go through the required eligibility criteria for MET 2020. Known as MU OET earlier, the MET 2020 eligibility criteria consists of the required Educational Qualifications of the candidates. The eligibility criteria issued by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), which was erstwhile known as Manipal University for MET candidates are mentioned below:
Candidate must have cleared their 10+2or A Levelor IB or American 12th grade or equivalent with compulsory subjects including Mathematics, Physics and English along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects (as optional) with at least 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and any one of the above optional subjects.
Admission of the candidates will be on the basis of their All India Rank in the Manipal Online Entrance Test or MET 2020.
It is important for the candidates to secure at least 50% in the MET 2020.
Foreign/NRI Category: Candidates belongs to Foreign/NRI category, their admissions will be done on the basis of their marks secured in the qualifying examination.
Note: Change of category from Foreign/NRI to General will not be entertained under any circumstances after admission.
