NIRF Overall Ranking 2025:The Ministry of Education has officially released NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) 2025 list on September 4, 2025, on the official website nirfindia.org. NIRF ranking 2025 have covered various categories, including overall, universities, engineering, management, medical, and more. For the academic year 2025-26,7692 unique institutions and a total of 14,163 institutionswill be participating in NIRF 2025 ranking list.
In the overall category of NIRF rankings, IIT Madras has been ranked first, followed by IISc Bengaluru, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, AIIMS Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Banaras Hindu University. This year will be the tenth edition of the rankings, which have become a trusted source for students and parents to evaluate the performance of educational institutes across India.

In 2024, the NIRF rankings were released on August 12, 2025. Approximately 10,885 institutes participated in NIRF 2024 rankings. In the overall category of NIRF rankings, IIT Madras was ranked first, followed by IISc Bengaluru, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and IIT Kanpur. Students and aspirants are now eagerly waiting to see which institutes make it to the top of NIRF Ranking 2025 list.
