Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech and B.Pharm courses at Acharya Nagarjuna University has to meet the eligibility criteria which is mentioned below. The eligibility criteria include the past academic record of the candidate and his/her performance in the entrance exam.

Acharya Nagarjuna University B Tech Eligibility Criteria

  • To seek admission into B.Tech., one should have a minimum of 50% of marks in the aggregate of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at 10+2 level. International Students are exempted from AP EAMCET, an entrance test conducted every year by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for selecting the candidates into the Pharmacy, Engineering stream.

  • International Students can also apply for direct admission through ANU Admissions Department.

  • The candidates who have passed the diploma exam in the first class in a specific branch of Engineering/Technology will also be permitted to take admission at Acharya Nagarjuna University.

In order to register for B.Tech & B.Pharma admission 2022 at Acharya Nagarjuna University, the candidates will have to register for the AP EAMCET exam. AP EAMCET is the entrance exam that is applicable for B.Tech & B.Pharma admission at ANU and each aspirant should clear the entrance exam to get admission. Once the AP EAMCET results are released, the registration for the counselling process begins. The registration fee for AP EAMCET counselling 2022 is Rs. 1000 for General Category and Rs. 500 for Reserved Categories.

While appearing for the AP EAMCET counselling certificate verification, the candidates need to carry the following documents -

Acharya Nagarjuna University B Tech and B Pharm Selection Process 2022

Students will be selected through a well-structured admission system into various courses monitored by a separate cell called the Directorate of Admissions. The Admissions to the B.Tech. and B.Pharm program at the Acharya Nagarjuna University is through centralized web counselling by the Government, based on the candidate rank obtained in the respective entrance exam (AP EAPCET /EAMCET).

After the AP EAPCET (EAMCET) result is declared (By the 2nd Week of August) the candidates will be shortlisted based on their entrance exam marks. After that, the university will invite students for document verification. The counselling and seat allotment procedure for B.Tech and B.Pharma program will be done completely on the basis of the merit and preference of the candidates.

The counselling process for AP EAMCET is entirely web-based. In the counselling process, the candidates have to choose the course and colleges according to their preferences. In the counselling process, the document verification process will also be included. And as soon as the form has been submitted, no changes shall be accepted. Once the seat allocation procedure has been completed, qualified candidates will have to report to the designated centre for the confirmation of the seat. It should be observed that if a candidate fails to report to the allotted centre, then his / her seat will be cancelled and he/she will not be able to claim any seats

Selection Process for International Students

Step 1: International students must fill-up the provisional admission application form and submit it along with the copies of certificates and the registration fees to the Director, International students Cell. This should be performed well in time so that the student can acquire a visa before the last date of admission.

The application enclosures must include:-

  • Two certified copies of the qualifying examination mark sheet (Certified version in English)

  • Two certified copies of the Degree Certificate of the qualifying examination (Certified version in English)

  • A copy of their corresponding certified UG / PG Degree syllabus (Certified English version)

  • Two copies of the student's passport.

Step 2: After scrutinizing the request for eligibility, the University will inform the student about the issue of a provisional admission letter.

Step 3: Student has to pay a non-refundable Demand Draft towards registration fee drawn in favour of the "Director, International Students Cell, Acharya Nagarjuna University" payable at Nagarjuna Nagar or Guntur or can pay online in the account of Bank Name: State Bank of India, Branch Name: SBI NAGARJUNA UNIVERSITY CAMPUS, Branch Code: 4793, Account Number: 32776206150, Swift Code No: SBININBB181, IFSC Code: SBIN0004793, MICR Code: 522002664, CIF No. : 85749275439

Step 4: The student will be issued a provisional admission letter and the student must obtain a "student visa" endorsed to Acharya Nagarjuna University from Indian Embassy /Consulate. Without a valid visa & No objection certificate, the admissions of the candidate will not be verified.

Step 5: After obtaining the Visa endorsed to Acharya Nagarjuna University, the student must apply for final admission, to the Director, International Students Cell, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Nagarjuna Nagar - 522 510, Andhra Pradesh, India

Step 6: The admission for the International students will be finalized and the allotment of a college is made, when the candidate reports in person to the Director, International students cell and after verification of all the certificates, appropriate visa and the payment of tuition fee in full. If the candidate fails to fulfil any of these conditions, then the admission will be cancelled.
