The Bihar School Examination Board has broadly divided the question paper into two parts. The very first part of the question paper will consist of 70 MCQs, and the next part includes subjective-type questions. You can check out the detailed question paper pattern from the table given below:

• The duration of the theory paper is 3 hours and 15 minutes will be provided to read the question paper.
• The question paper consists of 96 questions in total.
• In Section A, there are 70 objective-type questions, out of which 35 questions are to be answered. If the candidates answer more than 35 questions, only the first 35 questions will be evaluated. Each question carries 1 mark. To answer these, darken the circle with a blue/black ball pen against the correct option on the OMR Answer Sheet provided to you.
• In Section-B there are 20 short-answer type questions. Each question carries 2 marks. Out of which any 10 questions are to be answered. Apart from these, there are 6 long-answer type questions, out of which any 3 questions are to be answered. Each question carries 5 marks.
