BSCC Application Process for Engineering Students
If you are willing to pursue engineering courses by using the Bihar Student Credit Card loan, then you can follow the steps provided below to know the application process for BSCC:
Step 1: Go to the official website: 7nishchay-yuvaupmission.bihar.gov.in
Step 2: Click on the ‘New Applicant Registration ’ available on the website
Step 3: The direct link for the new applicant registration will redirect you to the application form for the BSCC
Step 4: Fill out the required details in the BSCC registration form, like name (as per class Xth registration), mobile number (must be active), and valid e-mail ID.
Step 5: After providing the mobile number and email ID, an OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to your registered email and mobile number. Fill out the OTP in the provided section and click on the ‘Submit’ button
Step 6:
After successful submission, a ‘successfully registered’ confirmation message will appear on the screen. You will also receive a confirmation mail on their email ID and SMS confirming their login credentials. After this, the applicant has to click on the ‘Go to Home Page’ button

Step 7: Log in to the registered account on the BSSC official website
Step 8:
After logging into the registered account, reset your password

Step 9: Log in again to the registered account using the new password
Step 10: Fill out the personal information required
Step 11: After filling out the complete application form, check the filled details and submit the BSCC application form
Step 12: A message will display on the screen after the successful submission of the Bihar Student Credit Card application
Step 13: Click on the “Exit” button. The system will log you out
Step 14: Click on the “Select Scheme” button and the following screen will be displayed
Step 15: Select the ‘Bihar Student Credit Card’ scheme from the drop-down menu
Step 16: A form for the ‘Bihar Student Credit Card’ scheme will appear on the screen
Step 17: Fill out the details asked in the application form, like PAN number, number of dependents, educational Qualification, Co-Applicants details (if available), etc

- Commencement Date for the Course
- Expected Monthly Income of Students after Completion of Courses
- Employment Potential after Completion of Course (Y/N)
- Bank Account Number of Institute
- Bank Name of Bank Account of Institute
- IFSC code of the Bank Account of the Institute
Step 19: Fill out the details of the loan request
- Tuition Fees
- Essential Books, Stationery, and Equipment
- Examination Fees
- In Maintenance Expenditure (City Category), select State from the drop-down. The application lists all the states in India
- Select “City” from the drop-down. The application lists all the A and B category cities in the selected state. If the city is not available, then enter the city in the “Other” field beside the drop-down
- System auto-fill “Category” based on the specified city
- Amount of Loan Applied
- Insurance Premium for the Duration of Loan and Start-up Period
- Total (should tally with the sources) in the text box provided
- Amount of Non-Repayable fellowship, etc, available to the student in the text box provided
- Amount of funds available from family sources for the course in the text box provided
- The applicant enters the Amount of Loan applied for in the text box provided
- The applicant enters the total (should tally with the cost) in the text box provided.
Step 20: Fill out the details of the existing loan (from any bank):
Provide below loan details against “Bank Name”, “Account Number”, “Date of Loan ”,“ Loan Amount ”,“ Present Outstanding, Mode of payment, EMIs, etc.
- Housing Loan
- Car Loan
- PF Loan
- Borrowings from Friends and Relatives
- Credit Society
- Others (Please Specify)

Step 21: Provide the general information and submit the BSCC application form for engineering students.
Note: The students need to provide the details of security assets against the load up to 4 lakhs. However, to get a loan of over INR 4 lakhs, students will have to submit details of the security interest, which can be used to recover the loan amount.
