UP B.Ed JEE is a state-level entrance exam is conducted for admission into B.Ed programs in the various college of Uttar Pradesh. The official notification for UP B.Ed JEE 2021 has been released, and the online registration began on February 18, 2021. However, the students need to know the proper format of documents to be uploaded at the time of the application form to avoid any hassle later. This article will enlist all the documents required to fill UP B.Ed JEE 2021 application form along with the required format.

Documents To Keep Ready Before Filling UP B.Ed JEE 2021 Form

Before filling the application form, the candidates must keep all the required documents handy. The documents which are required to fill the application form for UP B.Ed JEE are:

Marksheet/ certificate for the qualifying examination (10th, 12th, and others)

Category Certificate (Only for UP domicile candidates)

Photo Identity Card (Aadhar card/ driving license/ voter ID card/ Passport, etc.)

Scanned Photograph (passport size)

Scanned Signature

Left and right index fingerprints

Self Declaration Form and certificate for EWS Candidates

Disability certificate issued by a physician recognized under UP government (for physically challenged)

Valid email id and contact number



1. Can I scan the documents using my mobile phone?

Yes, but the scanned documents should be very clear and properly scanned. You can use some of the best scanning applications such as Cam Scanner.

2. I am a domicile of Uttar Pradesh but don’t have the document proof. Can I still apply for the exam through reserved quota?

No, if the candidate does not possess the document proof for the domicile of UP, he/she will be considered as a general quota.

Before filling the application form and uploading the scanned photograph and signature, the candidates must know the proper format required. The required specification for uploading photograph and signature for UP B.Ed JEE is given in the table below:

1. Can I upload a side faced photograph?

No, it is mandatory for the candidates to upload front faced clear image or else the application will be rejected by the UP B.Ed JEE board.

2. Should I use a blue or black ink pen to sign for the application form?

You can either use blue or black ink for the signature. There is no such specification.

Other Important Instructions for UP B.Ed JEE Application Form and Documents

  • If the candidate belongs to the domicile of Uttar Pradesh and has passed the qualifying exam from an institute recognised by the UP state government, he/she will have to upload an intermediate/ high school mark sheet.

  • If the candidates have the domicile of UP but have passed the qualifying exam from an institute outside of Uttar Pradesh, it is compulsory for the candidate to upload an online certificate from the respective institute.

  • The candidates who do not have a domicile of Uttar Pradesh will be considered as a general category only even if they belong to OBC/ST/SC or another reserved caste.

  • The candidates who have a domicile of UP and belong to a reserved caste will have to upload the documents approved by the UP state government on or after January 01, 2021. If any candidate has the category document issued before January 01, 2021; he/she will have to submit the income proof issued after the prescribed date.

  • The name, date of birth and other details entered in the form must be similar to the details as specified in the uploaded documents.

  • The students must keep the hard copy of the filled application form for future reference.


1. I belong to the OBC caste but have the documents issued before January 2021. Will I be eligible for a reservation?

If you don’t have a caste certificate issued after January 2021, you will have to submit the income proof issued by the state government after January 2021 to avail the reservation.

2. I don’t have an Aadhar card. Can I upload other documents as a photo identity?

Yes, if you don’t have an Aadhar card, you can use a Voter ID card or passport or driving license or other government-issued identification cards to fill the application.
