UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Exam Pattern

UP B.Ed JEE exam pattern 2024 is issued by the Bundelkhand University. To check the details, candidates have to download the information brochure of the said entrance examination. As per the UP BEd JEE exam pattern 2024, there are 4 segments. The main sections of the 1st paper include General Knowledge and Language Ability while the 2nd Paper has General Aptitude and Subject Ability.

UP BEd JEE 2024 Exam Pattern Paper-wise

Here are the major highlights of the UP B.Ed JEE 2024 exam pattern paper-wise exam pattern - 

  • Part A (General Knowledge component) of the UP B.Ed JEE Paper I is mandatory for all students to try, however Part B (Language section) applicants can pick between Hindi and English.
  • Part A (General Aptitude component) of the UP B.Ed JEE Paper II is compulsory, but aspirants may choose a topic of their preference in Part B (Subject Ability section).
  • In the UP B.Ed JEE Exam, all categories will be given equal weightage.
  • Each section will include a total of 50 questions, with applicants receiving 2 marks for each question.

UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Marking Scheme

The UP B.Ed JEE 2024 marking scheme provides the details of marks that must be added for correct answers and deducted for inaccurate answers. The four-section of the paper is divided equally with the number of questions and also marks. Every section carries 50 marks and each question carries 2 marks. Here is a tabular representation of Paper 1 and Paper 2 for the UP B.Ed JEE 2024.

UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Section-wise Analysis

Check out the significant pointers of the section-wise analysis of UP B.Ed JEE 2024 - 

  • Before taking the exam, applicants need to have a basic understanding of UP B.Ed JEE 2024. The UP B.Ed JEE Exam will last 6 hours in total. The exam will be held in two shifts, one in the morning shift and the other in afternoon.
  • Paper I of the UP B.Ed JEE 2024 will be taken in the first shift. UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Paper II, on the other hand, would be held in the afternoon shift.
  • The UP B.Ed JEE 2024 exam paper will have 200 (MCQs) Multiple Choice Questions across all four categories.
  • Candidates will be given two marks for each correct response to any question on either paper. For each incorrect response, a third of a point will be subtracted. The weightage will be the same for all parts.
  • Both the UP B.Ed JEE Paper I and Paper II will have 100 questions in total, with Part A and Part B each having 50 questions.

UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Paper I Pattern

  • All questions in UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Paper I Part A will be asked as per the General Knowledge section, which will cover topics such as history, geography, politics, current affairs, sports, and so on.
  • Part B will assess candidates' linguistic skills. Applicants may choose any language from the list of available languages - Hindi or English. This section will include some topics that will put the applicant's understanding of the language to the test.

UP B.Ed JEE 2024 Paper-II Pattern

  • Part A questions in UP B.Ed JEE 2024, Paper-II will cover the section General Aptitude, which comprises a wide range of themes such as reasoning and analysis, code and decoding, puzzle, number system & symbol series, time and distance, interest calculation, profit and loss, and so on. This component assesses the applicant's reasoning and quizzing abilities.
  • The questions in Part B will assess the candidate's Subject Ability, which will be determined by the candidate. This component will be based on the 11th or 12th-grade syllabus, and all topics of any subject will be based on the applicant's choice of course.
