The School Education and Sports Department of Maharashtra released the FYJC Round 1 merit and cutoff list 2023 on June 21 and the last date to secure admission in this round was extended from June 24 to June 26, 2023 (6:00 PM). Candidates who have taken part in the FYJC admission process can also check the category-wise cutoff details. The FYJC Round 1 seat allotment list was published region-wise and candidates need to visit the official website of each region and login to check the merit list. The FYJC 1st merit list has been prepared based on the marks obtained by the students in Class 10 (SSC) and following the reservation policy set by the Maharashtra Government. Candidates can take part in the FYJC 2023 admission on the basis of their Class 10th marks. The FYJC 2023 cutoff list has also been released separately for Amravati, Mumbai, Nashik, Nagpur and Pune.

After the FYJC 1st merit list was released, candidates whose names appear on the 1st seat allotment list had to secure seats by submitting their admission status between June 21 (10 AM) to June 26 (6 PM). Candidates whose names appear on the FYJC 1st merit list 2023 must take part in the admission process. To participate in the FYJC 2023 admission procedure, students have to submit the below-mentioned important documents:

What after FYJC 11th 1st Seat Allotment 2023?
After the FYJC Round 1 seat allotment list was released, students had to choose any one of the following options by June 26, 2023:
Seat Confirmation:
To confirm the seats of the students whose names appear on the FYJC 1st merit list 2023, they should report to their allotted junior college to take admission before 6 PM on June 24, 2023. These candidates will also be ineligible for taking part in further counselling sessions. However, students who have been assigned Preference #1 will have their seats auto-confirmed.
Seat Acceptance:
These students will have to accept seats allotted to them as of now but also wait for an improvement in the seat in the further rounds at the same time. If such candidates are allotted higher preferred seats in the next round, then they will have no say over the round 1 allotted seat.
Seat Rejection:
In the seat rejection option, students who have been allotted colleges in FYJC Round 1 seat allotment list can choose to reject their current seat and appear for the next counselling round.
Seat Cancellation:
Students who are selecting the seat rejection option are choosing to opt out of the entire counselling process and will not be a participant in any of the upcoming FYJC 2023 counselling rounds.
