Lucknow University's Counselling Process 2024 commenced on July 25, 2024. The newly admitted students under the University of Lucknow Undergraduate (UG) Admission Session 2024-25 are required to appear along with their provisional allotment letter along with all their original certificates, records and marksheets and character certificate, TC and a photocopy thereof for verification of their original records and certificates. For BSc Biology, candidates must report to the Dean at the old campus on August 7 & 8, 2024 at 10:00 AM. For BSc Mathematics, candidates must to report to the Dean at the old campus on August 9 & 10, 2024 at 10:00 AM.

Following are the minimum eligibility criteria set for BSc admission at Lucknow University for different groups:

BSc (Mathematics Group)

Candidates who opt for BSc (Mathematics Group) subjects must meet the following eligibility criteria for admission:

• The candidates must have passed the Intermediate examination (Class XII) or equivalent examination in the science stream.

• He/ She must have studied Mathematics group subjects in the qualifying examination.

• The candidate belonging to the General and OBC category must have scored 40% marks in the qualifying examination.

• SC/ ST category candidates must have obtained 33% aggregate marks.

BSc (Biology Group)

Candidates who opt for BSc (Biology Group) subjects must meet the following eligibility criteria for admission:

• The candidates must have passed the Intermediate examination (Class XII) or equivalent examination in the science stream

• He/ She must have studied Biology group subjects in the qualifying examination.

• The candidate belonging to the General and OBC category must have scored 40% marks in the qualifying examination.

• SC/ ST category candidates must have obtained 33% aggregate marks.

BSc Agriculture (For Colleges Only)

• Candidates need to pass the intermediate or equivalent examination with Science (Maths/ Biology) or Agriculture subject.

• The general or OBC candidates need to have at least 45% marks.

• The SC/ST candidates must have secured at least 40% of marks.

Step 1: Generate Lucknow University Registration Number (LURN)
Generate LURN by filling out the application form available on Lucknow University’s admission page on the website.
1. After filling out the form, the candidate will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number.
2. After inputting the OTP, the applicant will submit a fee of INR 100 online.
3. After the payment is confirmed, the candidate will receive the LURN on the registered mobile number or email filled in the form.
4. Print out the generated LURN.
5. Applicants applying for different courses can use the same LURN for separate admission forms.

Step 2: Fill The Form
Applicants need to fill out the application form on the admission page of the Lucknow University website.

Step 3: Fill The Educational Qualifications

Step 4: Upload Photo & Scanned Signature
Along with the application, the candidate must upload a photograph and a scanned copy of their signature.

Step 5: Preview
Once all details are entered, the applicant can preview the details entered in the application. In case there is an error, the same must be corrected at this stage. After the payment of application fees and the final submission of the application, the entries made cannot be edited.

Step 6: Pay The Application Fees
After cross-verification of details, the candidate can submit the application and pay the application fees. The application fee payment can be done online using a credit card, debit card, or net banking.

Step 7: Take The Print Application Form
By taking the application printout and the fee receipt, candidates will be able to complete the application process. Candidates are advised not to send the print copy of the form to the university and it must be kept with them for future use.

Points To Consider

1. While filling out the form, applicants can make the entries and save the information.

2. If the applicant is unable to fill the form in one go or encounters interruptions, they need not register again. Instead, they can log in through the credentials sent on their mobile number and continue.

3. The data entered should be thoroughly checked before submitting the application fee. After submitting the application fee, the data cannot be changed in any circumstance.

4. The candidate can edit the restricted data by logging into the admission website via the credentials sent to the registered mobile number or email.

5. The data submitted will be treated as frozen after the last date of submission. Till that date, applicants can change some fields like Address, Gender, Date of Birth, etc. Vital details like the applicant’s, mother’s, or father’s names cannot be edited.
