MP GNTST and PNST Exam 2023

MP GNTST and PNST 2023 result is likely to be released in the last week of August 2023. The exam was conducted on July 7, 2023. The GNTST (General Nursing Training Selection Test) and PNST (Pre-Nursing Selection Test) B.Sc Nursing will be administered by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) for the selection of eligible candidates for nursing posts. The post can only be filled by female candidates. In total, 1040 vacancies are up for grabs at the MP GNTST & PNST exam 2023.

MP GNTST and PNST Eligibility Criteria 2023

The applicant must meet the following eligibility criteria in order to be eligible for MP GNTST and PNST entrance exam 2023:

Eligibility Criteria

GNTST

  • As of 1 July 2023, the candidates must have reached a minimum age of 17 years and the maximum age limit is 27 years.

  • A 5-yr relaxation will be granted to the candidates who belong to the SC / ST / OBC/ widows group. To verify the age the candidate needs to submit their class 10th provisional certificate.

  • The candidates from Madhya Pradesh must have passed class 12th examination with at least 40% marks with Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects Or

  • The candidate must have taken class 12th class examination in any CBSE-recognized school in the State of Madhya Pradesh with at least 40% marks.

  • A relaxation of 5% will be given for the reserved category.

PNST

  • As of July 2023, the candidate's minimum age should be 17 years and the maximum age limit shall be 30 years.

  • The SC / ST / OBC / widows category candidates will be given 5 years of relaxation. But they need to provide their class 10th provisional certificate for verifying their age.

  • The candidates must have passed class 12th examination from Madhya Pradesh with at least 40.5% marks with compulsory subjects such as English, Physics, Chemistry, and Life sciences. Or

  • The candidate must have passed Class 12th exam with a minimum mark of 45% marks from any approved CBSE school in Madhya Pradesh State.

  • 5% relaxation will be given to the candidates belonging to the reserved category.

MP GNTST and PNST Admit Card 2023

Only on the official website, the admit card of MP GNTST and PNST will be available. The admit card can be accessed only 7-10 days prior to the exam. And the candidates should also remember that the admit card will not be sent to any candidates in person.

Documents Required for MP GNTST and PNST 2023

Self-tested photocopies of the following documents as needed to be submitted along with the MP PNST and PNST application form.

  • Candidates Class 10th and 12th mark sheet (science group) from CBSE affiliated schools from Madhya Pradesh.

  • Caste certificate of the candidates in original and a photocopy by the competent authority

  • State domicile certificate issued by any district medical board of Madhya Pradesh

Selection Procedure for MP GNTST and PNST Admission 2023

The selection of the candidates will be based on merit. After the entrance exam, the board will prepare a merit list based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam. For the selection process, the candidates need to secure a minimum of 45% marks in the entrance exam. And it is to be noted that only one paper will be conducted for admission in GNTST and PNST which include topics from various subjects such as English, Physics, Chemistry, and life sciences. The marks of all subjects will be separately measured and the final marks will be combined which includes the marks of English subjects. The Professional Examination Board (PEB) of Madhya Pradesh will announce the result date of MP GNTST PNST. The MP GNTST and PNST 2023 Results will be announced in July 2023.
