UP BSc Nursing Entrance Exam 2023: The Round 2 counselling process for UP BSc Nursing Admissions 2023 has been concluded on July 24, 2023. The UP BSc Nursing 2023 Seat Allotment for round 2 counselling was started on July 18, 2023. The last date for seat allotment is July 24, 2023. The number of seats available in the mop-up round will be displayed on July 26, 2023. Registration for UP BSc Nursing 2023 Counselling Mop up round will start on July 28, 2023 and the mop-up round will be concluded on August 4, 2023.
UP BSc Nursing exam 2023 is conducted for the purpose of granting admission to several undergraduate-level Nursing degree programs. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the UP BSc Nursing Entrance Exam 2023 is passing the higher secondary examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate. In order to take admission to BSc Nursing in UP such as Vivekanand College of Nursing, Sahara College of Nursing, College of Nursing KMGU, Samarpan College of Nursing, Dr Achal Singh Yadav Institute (B&G) College of Nursing, and others, candidates must appear for the UP BSc Nursing 2023 entrance exam. UP BSc Nursing Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria 2023
The candidate must meet the following eligibility criteria to appear n the UP BSc Nursing Entrance Exam:
The minimum age of admission is 17 years on or before December 31st.
A candidate must have passed PCB subjects and English individually and obtained at least 45% marks taken together in PCE at the qualifying examination (10+2).
A candidate from SC / ST or any other backward class should have secured at least 40% marks in their PCM subjects instead of 45% as stated above.
For admission in BSc Nursing, the candidates should have passed in English subjects in their Class 12th examination.
Both males and females are eligible to apply for the BSc Nursing
Vivekananda College of Nursing Lucknow, Sahara College of Nursing Lucknow and BCM College of Nursing, Khairabad, Sitapur, have seats for Female candidates only.
Candidates have to be medically fit. An additional medical checkup may be done before admission (the candidates who are in the merit list are required to submit a certificate of physical fitness from a registered medical practitioner
Candidates for the entrance test will have to pay a fee of Rs. 2000/- for the General and OBC categories and as for the candidates from SC/ST need to pay Rs. 1200/- through Allahabad Bank or HDFC Bank along with the prescribed application form duly filled in.

The Uttar Pradesh BSc Nursing Admit Card 2023 was released on May 25, 2023 only on the official website. Applicants will be able to download the same by visiting the portal and providing their login credentials generated at the time of registration. All the essential information related to the exam time, date, and venue, along with the candidate's roll no. will be mentioned on the admit card, which is why applicants will need to keep the document safe. Besides, it is also the ticket to the exam hall, as no candidate will be allowed to take the exam without a valid admit card.

UP BSc Nursing Entrance Exam Selection Process 2023
The selection of the candidate to BSc Nursing course in Uttar Pradesh will be on the basis of merit and preference of the college given by the candidates. Candidates whose name appear in the merit list will be eligible for final admissions.
Reservation Policy:-
For disabled candidates: 5% Disability quota shall be granted to eligible candidates with locomotive disabilities between 40% and 50% of the lower extremity
A relaxation of 5% will be given to SC/ST candidates
Any reservation as per the State Government
The reservation will be valid for the sanctioned number of seats approved by INC
Note: A committee will be formed consisting of a medical officer approved by the State Medical Board and a panel nursing specialist who will be able to decide whether the candidates have a disability of locomotor of 40% to 50%.

UP BSc Nursing Entrance Tips and Guidelines to follow on Exam Day
In order to obtain the admit card, the candidates need to use their Login ID and Password- Candidates will be allowed to enter in the examination hall without their admit card.
The entrance exam will be of 180 minutes and lasts from 11 am to 2 pm.
Candidates must present at the exam centre 60 minutes before the beginning of the entrance exam, and need to be seated 30 minutes before the entrance exam.
After the seating time, no candidate is allowed to enter the examination hall. And the candidate can only leave the examination hall when the exam is over.
Candidates will have to sign the attendance sheet when instructed by the Invigilators.
At the time of the entrance exam, candidates shall not be allowed to carry any textual material, written or printed paper.
Candidates shall not be permitted to carry any textual material, printed or written material, bits of paper or any other material at the examination hall except their admit card.
Phone, Pager or any electronic gadget are strictly prohibited in the examination hall and shall be treated as unfair means.
The test will be administered in English only by MCQs.
In the entrance exam, the candidates need to answer 200 MCQs and there will be no negative marking.
Absolute silence should be maintained at the examination. Any disruption in the hall is treated as wrongdoing and the defaulting candidates need to forfeit the right to continue the exam. The Center Superintendent's decision is final.
At the time of examination, candidates need to enter their roll number at the top of the question booklet and nowhere else.
If there is any rough work then the candidate can use their question booklet but not the response sheet.
No candidate shall copy from the paper of any other candidate or seek to provide or try to receive unusual help from any other candidate.
Under any circumstances, the question booklet and answer sheet shall not be taken outside the examination hall.
Candidate should be careful when filling out the answer sheet with the circle in the OMR sheet because the marks will be given based on the candidate’s answer
Failure to follow the instructions shown above at the time of examination disqualifies the candidate from taking the examination.
