The SSC CGL 2025 Post-Wise Vacancies have been announced. There are around 14,582 posts in different central government departments. These include popular positions like Assistant Section Officer, Inspector, Sub-Inspector, Auditor, Accountant, Tax Assistant, and many more. The maximum number of vacancies this year is announced for the Superintendent and other central-level positions. All the SSC CGL vacancies 2025 are divided category-wise into General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, along with reserved seats for PwD and Ex-Servicemen.
The SSC CGL Exam 2025 is being conducted in two stages: Tier 1 and Tier 2. After clearing these, students are recruited into Group B or Group C posts depending on their score and preference. The pay scale for each of the SSC CGL posts is different for Level 4, Level 5, Level 6 and Level 7 under the 7th Central Pay Commission. For example, Pay Level 4 starts at Rs. 25,500 basic pay, and the salary goes higher for other levels, with Pay Level 8 starting at Rs. 44,900 and going up to Rs. 1,42,400 per month.
