AFCAT AFSB or Air Force Selection Board Interview is a common interview conducted for the candidates who have cleared the AFCAT Exam. AFCAT AFSB Interview: 5 Days Procedure
The AFCAT AFSB Interview is a five-day process. You can check the complete procedure of AFCAT ASB Interview listed below.
Day 1: On the first day, you will have to report to the railway station of the city around 6.45-7 AM. Latecomers will not be allowed to participate. You will then be taken to the interview centre by the bus facility provided by the conducting body. Once you reach the interview centre, you will be welcomed by the senior member. After that, you will be asked to complete a form which will be followed by a quick breakfast. The first round of the interview will be the OIR Test. The test will be followed by the PPDT test. Results of both the rounds will be announced in the afternoon. Selected candidates will be sent to the allotted rooms for document verification while other candidates will be sent back to the station. Those who have not carried the documents will also be sent back or they will be called for another batch with completed documents. Later that day, successful candidates will be sent for a long psychological test which will be last late night. The duration of the psychological test will be 4-5 hours.
Day 2, 4 and 5: You will be allotted any one of these days for GTO and interview. You might have Interview/ GTO on the same day also. While going for the interview round, you will have to carry your academic mark sheet, certificates and other documents. The total duration of the interview will be 30 minutes-60 minutes. The GTO test will include 9 activities i.e Individual obstacles, Command Task, Military Planning Exercise, Progressive Group Task, Command Task, Group Discussion, Final Group Task, Half Group Task, Snake Race and Lecturette.
Day 5: It is the Conference Day. A conference is a place where you will see all members and officers in their Army uniforms. Your result will be declared on Day 5. Those who get selected will be sent to complete other formalities while remaining candidates will be asked to leave.
Medical: The medical test will not be conducted immediately after selection. You will be given a date and then you will have to appear on the allotted date at Air Force Central Medical Establishment (New Delhi) or Institute of Aerospace Medicine (Bangalore).
Important Instructions for AFCAT AFSB Interview

Since you will not be allowed to appear for the AFSB interview without the admit card and required documents, you will have to ensure that you are carrying all the documents and AFCAT admit card while going for the interview.
You should wear shoes while appearing for the AFCAT AFSB interview as slippers are not allowed. Besides this, you should be dressed in formal attire.
You should reach the railway station of the city before the time allotted since latecomers will not be allowed for the interview.
Don’t carry too many clothes and phone with you while going for the AFCAT AFSB Interview.
You should carry one pair of White Shirt or T-shirt, Socks with a pair of white sports shoes, Track Suit or Shorts or Trouser or Salwar-Kameez.
