VTASAT or VelTech Scholarship Assessment Test is an entrance cum scholarship test conducted every year by the VelTech Rangarajan Dr Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology. Through VTASAT or VTSAT, the students of VelTech University admitted in UG Media, Law and Management programmes can apply for various scholarships offered by the University. It is mandatory for the students to appear in VTASAT if they wish to avail a scholarship. The following sections will comprehensively deal with the various aspects of VelTech Scholarship Assessment Test such as the eligibility conditions, the application process, syllabus, exam pattern, scholarship schemes etc.

Who can Apply for VTASAT 2020

As discussed earlier, Media, Law and Management programme students (UG) of VelTech University can apply or appear in VTASAT 2020.

Under the Media programme, B.Sc (Multimedia/Visual Communication) students can appear in the 2020 VTASAT.
Under the Law programme, students of B.A and B.Com (LL.B Hons) can apply for a scholarship through VTASAT 2020
Under the Management programme, BBA and B.Com (Corporate Secretaryship/Accounts & Finance/General) students will be eligible for a scholarship if they appear and meet the desired cutoff scores of VTASAT 2020

How to Apply for VTASAT 2020

The VTASAT application form for 2020 is live now and the aspirants can apply for VTASAT 2020 via both the online and offline methods. To apply for VTASAT 2020, the aspirants simply have to click on the direct link to apply for the same provided above!

Apply Offline for VTASAT 2020

In order to apply offline for VTASAT 2020, the given steps have to be followed by the aspirants:

Step 1: The aspirants have to visit one of the VelTech regional offices to purchase the 2020 VTASAT application form.

Step 2: Fill up the application form for VTASAT 2020 collected from the regional VelTech office. The applicants have to provide all the correct details in the respective text boxes

Step 3: Pay the VTASAT application fee of INR 300/-. The applicants will have three options to submit the VTSAT 2020 application fee:

Pay by cash
Demand Draft in favour of the Director - UG Admission VelTech Rangarajan Dr Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, payable at Chennai. Also in addition to it, the applicants have to send a requisition letter which must mandatorily include their complete postal address
Visit the admission office of VelTech Rangarajan Dr Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Avadi, Chennai in person and hand over the Demand Draft

Step 4: After completing the aforementioned steps, the applicants have to send the offline VTSAT 2020 application form to the following address:

VTASAT Exam Pattern 2020

Provided below is the detailed exam pattern for VTASAT 2020 which will give a fair bit of idea to the test-takers about the question paper:

VTASAT 2020 will be an offline exam
MCQ-type questions will be present in the assessment test paper
VTASAT 2020’s medium of instruction will be in English only
All the questions will be based on Current Affairs and General Aptitude
There will be a total of 25 questions in the VTASAT 2020 paper
