JEE Main 2023 Percentile Score

JEE Main percentile score is a metric used to rank candidates who have appeared for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main. The percentile score indicates the percentage of candidates who have scored equal to or below a particular candidate in the exam. The percentile score is calculated separately for each of the three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, as well as the overall score. The final percentile score is the average of the percentile scores obtained in all three sections.

The formula used to calculate the JEE Main percentile score is as follows:
Percentile score = ((Number of candidates who scored less than or equal to the candidate) / (Total number of candidates who appeared for the exam)) x 100

The factors that determine a candidate's percentile score in JEE Main include the total number of candidates who appeared for the exam, the level of difficulty of the exam, and the candidate's performance in the exam.
