CET Trivandrum Admission 2026

CET Trivandrum has separate eligibility criteria for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Candidates must have the required educational qualification and a valid entrance exam score to be eligible for admission. NOTE: Candidates who completed Class 12 from a board outside Kerala must obtain an eligibility certificate from a recognised Kerala university before admission. This certificate is not required for students who passed Class 12 from the Kerala State Board, CBSE, or ICSE. For M.Tech admission, candidates must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in the relevant engineering discipline. Reserved category candidates are eligible for relaxation in minimum marks as per the rules of the Kerala Government and APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU).

The admission process at CET Trivandrum depends on the course you choose. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria, qualify for the required entrance exam, take part in the counselling or selection process, and complete document verification to secure admission. • Check the eligibility criteria for the course you want to apply for.
• Appear for the required entrance exam, such as KEAM, GATE, KMAT Kerala, CAT, MAT, or NATA, depending on the course.
• Register for the counselling process or submit the application through the concerned admission portal.
• Fill in your course and college preferences during the counselling process.
• If a seat is allotted, download the allotment letter and report to CET Trivandrum with the required original documents.
• Complete document verification at the institute.
• Pay the admission fee and other applicable charges to confirm your seat.
• After successful verification and fee payment, complete the admission formalities and join the programme on the date announced by the institute.

CET Trivandrum offers 29 M.Tech specialisations, along with M.Arch and M.Plan programmes. Admission is based on a valid GATE score and is conducted through the LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Kerala. Candidates must meet the course-specific eligibility criteria to participate in the admission process.
