Chandigarh University does not publish official admission cutoffs. The university conducts CUCET for admission to most of its programs and offers scholarships across two phases (Phase I and Phase II) based on CUCET scores. The admission to courses offered by Chandigarh University is done on the basis of cutoff scores. After the respective entrance exam results are out, Chandigarh University prepares the final cutoff lists for admission. The candidates are required to obtain a score equal to or more than the cutoff specified by the University for admission to various UG & PG courses. Based on the cutoff score and the rank of the candidates in the respective exam, Chandigarh University releases the merit list. The merit list consists of the name of all the candidates who are shortlisted for admission to the respective programs.
