MAT 2022 cutoff for MBA/PGDM admission is released by the MAT participating colleges to shortlist candidates for the GD and PI rounds. MAT Cutoff is the minimum score required by a candidate to get admission to an MBA college in India. Every MAT 2022 participating college releases its own MAT Cutoff 2022 for the shortlisting of candidates for their MBA and PGDM courses. Some colleges consider MAT percentiles for MBA admission while others provide admissions based on MAT scores.
MAT cutoff percentiles for all three modes - CBT, PBT, and IBT are at par with each other. There is no variation in cutoffs. For example, a candidate having 95 percentile in IBT and a candidate having 95 percentile in IBT are both eligible for admission. Also, if a candidate has attempted MAT more than once, he/she can use the best score for admission.
MAT cutoff percentiles for the top MBA colleges is90 percentile. While some colleges consider the overall MAT exam score for shortlisting candidates for GD and PI, some colleges also consider the MAT composite score and the sectional scores of the candidate.
Candidates may also be required to clear sectional cutoffs for MAT if their college requires it. If a college offers multiple management courses, the MAT 2022 cutoff will be specified individually for every course. Candidates must carefully check the requirements to find the colleges that fit their MAT 2022 Score and Percentile.
MAT is conducted by AIMS four times per year – in February, May, September, and December. The participating institutes of MAT release the MAT 2022 cutoff after the results have been declared. Candidates who have filled out the application form for respective colleges accepting MAT 2022 scores will have to check whether they have qualified for the cutoff marks or not.
Those who have cleared the cutoff will be invited to participate in the MAT 2022 Selection Process of individual colleges. Candidates need to secure the minimum MAT 2022 cutoff marks to get shortlisted for the selection rounds such as group discussion (GD), personal interview (PI), and Written Ability Test (WAT). The cutoff will be different for each round and will vary with the category of candidates and institutions.
MAT cutoff composite scores are applicable to almost all MBA colleges/institutes that offer admission in management courses with MAT 2022 (February) cutoffs. Generally, the MAT cutoffs go between 70 to 80+ percentile. With the help of MAT cutoff 2022, candidates get a more realistic idea of where all they can apply for admission.
