Glocal University Admission 2024 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

Glocal University (GU) has a large group of 12 Institutions teaching most of the important educational courses. The educational institutions accept admissions in moderate strengths to not disturb their academic ratio of teacher per student or admissions per placed student. They accept admissions in all their courses every year as per the strengths of the course and the guidelines issued by the concerned authorities. Although GU attracts admissions majorly in the engineering and medical domains, it also accepts admissions in various courses like Unani, life sciences, commerce, management, law and doctorate level programs.

To take admissions in Glocal University, there are multiple methods like :

• Off-the Counter

The forms are readily available offline and can be collected from the college or institute counters to fill in. Majorly, the forms are distributed online and are made available on the website of the University from where they can be applied. A PDF version of the form also gets circulated in an offline mode that can be filled and submitted to the University’s admission cell along with the payment of the amount of the form. The benefit of this Application mode is face-to-face communication with the admission counsellors. They will connect with the applicant or the applicant’s representatives if there is any issue or doubt. They will make sure to assist with the entire admission process in detail for the applicant's benefit.

• Online Application

As discussed in the overview section, there are four simple and easy steps to operate online applications at Glocal University. The interested person can log in and click on the Application portal when the forms section is made public. The applicant then gets an option to enter all the details and submit them with the form. At the end of the review of the form, the final fee payment is to be made, and the application procedure is completed. This is a simple and easy method of Application at GU with an aim to provide access to the admission portal to all. The payment method is also very easy using debit/ credit cards, UPI or any acceptable wallets by the University’s payment portal.

• Entrance Exams

These are important exams that every aspirant of GU has to focus upon. Glocal believes that not just an exam set by the universal body can judge the actual potential as a child. Thus it makes the provision of conducting their entrance exams in addition to the exams taken by the registered bodies. These exams hold weightage along with the curriculum vitae and other exam results, and the final weighted average decides the merit for the course. This is because even if the person misses out on the national level exams due to any reason, there will be at least some destination that will care about the person and his achievements rather than just one exam. Although many colleges accept only national merits, only a few of Glocal’s Courses are adamant on the same policymaking Glocal a most wanted and opted option for those who cannot crack the crème level exams due to any reason.

• International Admissions

With multiple international accreditations in its cap, Glocal University offers a proper international immersion program in the form of student exchange, curriculum sharing and cross-cultural reference induction. While Glocal University accepts Applications majorly from India, a wing of GU is dedicated to the inter-cultural infusion and providing resources and seats with proper facilities for the NRIs and international students who wish to be a part of the Indian education system and Indian curriculum pedagogy can partake here and complete their course curriculum. Applicants who share a pin code different from India need to apply for valid study documents and a valid approved Visa. All the documents need to be submitted in photo-started sheets after the original documents have been cross-verified and approved by all the concerned authorities. The board at GU will also scan the prospects of taking the admission. After cross-checking all the demands, the admission of the foreign national can be taken in the university.

• February 25, 8:00 AM IST: The new admissions portal of Glocal University has not issued any new notifications for the exact date of forms distribution for the period of FY 2023.
• February 24, 7:00 PM IST: The tentative announcement date for the new admissions will be around March 15, 2023.
• February 22, 5:00 PM IST: The exam dates of GU will be announced after the result declaration of all the major examinations of all the subjects.
• February 20, 3:00 PM IST: There are very fewer chances of deadline extension in the form filling process by online mode in case there is an arrangement to shut down due to natural reasons.

The forms for PhD and other diploma Courses that have direct admissions are live on the admissions portal of GU. The forms are not available offline for FY 2023 due to the advancement of a new variant of the COVID pandemic. All the Application processes to admission will be conducted online until further notice.

In order to get eligible for admission to the BAMS program at GU, the student must fulfill the given eligibility criteria:

The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised school with English, Mathematics, and Physics as the compulsory subjects along with one of the optional subjects as Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology.

The candidate must have acquired a minimum aggregate of 50% in the 10+2 exam (45% for the reserved candidates) with all the subjects put together.

The candidates who are awaiting final results can also apply for admission on a provisional basis.

The selection of the candidates for BAMS program at GU on the basis of merit position obtained by the candidates in the merit list released by the Glocal University admission department.
