NEET UG 2025 Round 2 Counselling registrations and choice filling/locking are available until September 9, 2025. The seat allotment result is scheduled to be released on September 12, 2025.
The final result of the NEET MDS 2025 Online Stray Vacancy Round has been published on mcc.nic.in. Allotted candidates are required to complete the reporting process by September 8, 2025.
The NEET PG 2025 scorecard is now available on natboard.edu.in, and qualified candidates can access and download it by logging in with their User ID and password.
GATE 2026 registration is now open at gate2026.iitg.ac.in for admission to M.Tech and research programs. Candidates can submit their applications without a late fee until September 28, 2025, while the deadline with a late fee is October 9, 2025. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, in two sessions.
Although Manipal University accepts various entrance exams for the admissions to its courses, you can not use your JEE Main scorecard to get Manipal University admission for BTech. For the candidates interested in pursuing BTech at Manipal University, they are required to appear for MET and clear the cutoff.
2. Can I get direct admission to Manipal University?
Yes, Manipal University direct admission is available. For the available courses at Manipal University, both Indian and Foreign/NRI students can apply. However, for the Indian students, MET or other entrance exams are necessary. On the other hand, seats are reserved under the International/NRI category, and you have to pay the NRI/International fee structure to confirm your seat. So, if you are an NRI or a foreign student, you can have Manipal University direct admission. In the NRI/Foreign Student quota, seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. In short, to Manipal University direct admission is available DASA scheme 2025, an initiative by GOI. DASA stands for Direct Admission of Students Abroad.
3. Can I get admission to Manipal University without entrance exam?
For every course available at Manipal University, there are some criteria to get admission. For the Indian students, Manipal University admission requires scorecards of entrance exams and, for some courses, a minimum of 50% in either 10+2 or graduation. However, for NRI & foreign students, seats are reserved for them only on the basis of first-come, first-served. To get into Manipal University without entrance exam, pay NRI/International fee structure for your preferred course. However, if you are an Indian student who wants to enrol as an NRI student, you have to be sponsored by an eligible NRI/foreign relative.
4. Is Manipal University admission open?
Yes, Manipal University admission for 2025 is open. Although admission to most of the popular courses is now closed, some courses are still open for admission for both Indian and foreign/NRI students.
5. Does Manipal University have any entrance exam?
Yes, Manipal University conducts its own entrance exam. For some courses, Manipal University accepts entrance exams like NATA, NEET, CAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. However, for the majority of its courses, including BTech, appearing at and clearing the cutoff of MET is necessary for admission.
6. Does the Manipal University entrance exam have negative marking?
Manipal Eligibility Test, a.k.a. MET has no negative marking for the numerical answer types (NAT). For every correct answer, MET awards +4 while for every wrong answer in the MCQ section, -1 is awarded to the candidate.
Although the Manipal University admission 2025 last date for most courses has ended, there are some courses still open for admission. Depending on the courses you choose, the Manipal University admission criteria vary. MAHE offers admission under two main categories:
Foreign/NRI admissions follow a first-come, first-served, merit-based process for selected seats.

Manipal University offers 370+ courses across 36+ disciplines. The Manipal University admission for some courses is open till August 31, 2025. To proceed with the Manipal University admission for the available courses, you have to follow the following procedure.
Step 1: First visit https://apply.manipal.edu/application-forms# where you have to register yourself with your name, phone number, email address, chosen stream and course.
Step 2: As soon as you register yourself, you will receive an email from Manipal Academy of Higher Education <admissions@mailer.manipal.edu>. Here you will be asked to validate your email address within 48 hours. Click on the “validate email” button ASAP, and that will redirect you to the first website: https://apply.manipal.edu/application-forms#.
Step 3: On this site, you will find all the programmes under different disciplines, like certificate, undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, fellowship, etc. Click on your preferred disciplines.
However, to save your time and effort, we want to let you know that the Manipal University admission for the 2025-26 session for most courses has already been closed. Only some courses of UG, PG, Diploma, and PG Diploma are now open for admission. Check the first table to know more about those courses.
Step 4: Once you are done with choosing the preferred course, click on the “Apply Now” button.
Step 5: Then proceed to fill in the details as asked on the website. Details like Category (General, SAGES, Overseas), Programme, Personal, Guardian & Address need to be filled. In the Personal details section, you will be asked to upload the following documents:
Step 6: Once you are done with filling the details correctly, you will land on the Declaration page. Tick the box and click on “Next”.
Step 7: After Declaration, you will land on the “Payment” page, where you will be asked to pay a nominal amount of INR 600 (incl. GST). Make the payment, and your application will be submitted.
