List of Colleges Accepting NIFT Score 2025

The registration process for the NIFT 2025 exam is ongoing and post registration, aspirants must be aware of the list of colleges accepting NIFT score 2025. The NIFT 2025 Entrance Exam will be administered as a written test on February 9, 2025, and serves as the first step for candidates wishing to apply for admission to top design courses at any NIFT campus. While the Creative Ability Test would be administered offline, the General Ability Test would be computer-based. Scores from the written exams are considered as the qualifying criterion for shortlisting candidates to subsequent stages of evaluation, such as the Situation Test for B.Des students and Personal Interviews for PG students. There are a total of 18 NIFT participating institutes that will be offering a total of 4837 seats in the undergraduate and postgraduate courses across the categories of All-India, state domicile, and NRI categories for 2025 admissions.

NIFT Entrance Exam 2026 Date likely to be announced in November; Notification expected date

NIFT Entrance Exam 2026: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is expected to release the notification for NIFT 2026 application in November 2025. As per previous years' trends, the online application process is likely to begin in the 3rd week of November 2025. Last year, the application form for the NIFT exam was released on November 22. The exam, conducted once a year by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of NIFT, is the route to undergraduate and postgraduate design courses at NIFT colleges all over India. The application form for NIFT 2026 will be active at nift.ac.in. Candidates are requested to go through the eligibility criteria thoroughly and keep the requisite documents, such as academic certificates, identity proof, and scanned photograph(s). 

The examination is the gateway to Bachelor of Design (B.Des), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech), Master of Design (M.Des), Master of Fashion Management (M.F.M), and Master of Fashion Technology (M.F.Tech) courses. At NIFT, numerous candidates compete for a restricted number of seats across 18 NIFT campuses annually, located in major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.

Keeping in line with the previous years’ patterns, the NIFT 2026 exam is expected to be held in the month of February 2026. The exam will have two parts – the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and the General Ability Test (GAT). The CAT is a test that determines how innovative a candidate is and how good their design skills are, while the GAT examines analytical thinking, understanding of English, logical thinking, and current events. Candidates for B.Des. & M.Des are required to appear for both the CAT and GAT, while aspirants for B.F.Tech, M.F.M. & M.F.Tech have to appear only for the GAT paper.

AIEED 2026 Application Form Release Date: The All India Entrance Examination for Design will start the AIEED 2026 application form fill-up process on November 1, 2025. Candidates who want to appear in the AIEED 2026 examination should visit the official website- aieed.com and complete the AIEED registration process successfully. As per the UGC guidelines, the candidates who have qualified or appeared in Class 10+2 (CBSE/ ICSE/ IB/ NIOS/ State Board) will be eligible to participate in the AIEED application form fill-up process (UG level courses). On the other hand, any graduates or candidates pursuing graduation in any discipline from any recognized University can participate in the AIEED registration process for pursuing postgraduate level courses.
