Admission Requirements for MS in Business Analytics in the US

Given below are the eligibility criteria/admission requirements for MS in Business Analytics in the US. The same may, however, vary from university to university:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised university.

  • A minimum undergraduate grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

  • A minimum score of 79 (electronic test) or 550 (paper-based) in TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language).

  • A minimum score of 6.5 in the IELTS (International English Language Testing System).

  • A minimum score of 600-710 in the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or a minimum score of 167 in the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE).

Note: Few universities waive off the English proficiency tests for students who have a degree from a university with an English-speaking curriculum.

  • Lastly, an application fee will have to be paid in online mode.

Note: The administration of the university will send an email confirmation when the application has been received. In case an application is not complete, you will be notified regarding the same. Applications may not be reviewed until all the required documents have been received by the university.
