Osmania University admissions are offered to various programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate, PG diploma, research and certificate levels. The Osmania University admission process differs depending on the courses opted by the candidate. UG admissions are based on merit whereas Osmania University PG admissions are done through an entrance test - Common Post Graduate Entrance Tests (CPGET) which is conducted by the university itself. Candidates seeking admissions have to first ensure that they meet the Osmania University eligibility criteria for respective courses to get accepted into the institute. M.Sc in Computer Science	Candidates must have a B.Sc degree with a minimum of 40% marks with mathematics and computer Science subjects as an optional. or Candidates must be a BCA graduate with atleast 40% marks
M.Sc in Electronics	Candidates must have a B.Sc degree with a minimum of 40% marks with electronics and mathematics subjects as optional
M.Sc in Geography	Candidates must have a BA degree in geography or any B.Sc degree with atleast 40% marks or equivalent CGPA
M.Sc in Geo-Informatics	Candidates must have a BA degree in Geography or B.Sc/B.Tech/ BE/ BCA with 40% marks ( or equivalent CGPA)
M.Sc in Geology	Candidates must have a B.Sc degree with 40% marks with Geology subject as an optional. .
M.Sc in Applied Geology
M.Sc in Applied Geochemistry
M.Sc in Mathematics	Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with atleast 40% marks with mathematics subject as an optional.
M.Sc in Applied Mathematics
M.Sc in Mathematics with Computer Science
M.Sc in Physics	Candidates must have a B.Sc degree with a minimum of 40% marks with physics and mathematics subjects as optionals.
M.Sc in Astronomy

M.Sc in Statistics	Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with 40% marks with statistics and mathematics subject as an optional.
M.Sc in Applied Statistics
M.Sc in Zoology	Candidates must have a B.Sc degree with atleast 40% marks with zoology subject as an optional. each.

Osmania University UG Admission Process 2023

Candidates must first ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria for the desired course before proceeding with the Osmania University admission process.
Next, the candidates have to fill out the Osmania University application form and pay the application fees. .
Candidates will be shortlisted based on merit obtained in the qualifying examination..
Lastly, shortlisted candidates have to proceed with fee payments and get their documents verified to confirm the Osmania University admission.

Osmania University PG Admission Process 2023

Candidates who wish to pursue PG courses have to appear for Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET) but before that they must fulfil the CPGET eligibility criteria.
Eligible candidates must then fill in the CPGET application form and pay the application fees
Candidates have to then appear for the exam and secure qualifying marks.
Qualifying candidates will be eligible for the counselling process.
Final selection of candidates will be based on the marks obtained in CPGET, followed by the counselling process.
Lastly shortlisted candidates have to get their documents verified and pay the Osmania University fees.

A total of 16 courses are offered to the candidates at Osmania University at undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels.
