AFMC MBBS admission 2022 is held every year by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) in collaboration with Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune. Candidates who qualify the NEET 2022 exams are allowed to participate in this process. It is held completely online. Aspirants have to fill in the AIIMS MBBS application form 2022 to partake in the admission process. Since the screening test is for a career based in Army, the eligibility criteria is quite stringent. Here are the AFMC MBBS 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality: Aspirants must be of Indian origin. Individuals belonging to Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Jammu & Kashmir are also considered eligible. Apart from this, applicants who have received a special eligibility certificate from the Ministry of Home Affairs are allowed to fill out the application form of AFMC MBBS admission 2022.

Marital status: Aspirants planning to secure admission in AFMC must be single. They are not allowed to indulge in marriage during their entire course.

Age limit: Candidates must have a minimum age of 17 years by December 31, 2022, to apply for AFMC MBBS 2022 admission. The maximum age limit for aspirants is set at 24 years.

Educational Qualification: Aspirants need to clear the class 12 exams with physics, biology, English, and chemistry as the main subjects. They need to also clear the minimum cutoff marks in NEET 2022 exams to become qualified.

Minimum marks needed: Aspirants must secure at least 60% aggregate marks in Science course (Physics, Biology, and Chemistry) subjects. Also, they need to score 50% in English and every other relevant subject.

• Candidates have the right to appeal if they are declared unfit by the officials by paying a fee of INR 40.

• Minimum weight and height requirement for boys is 47 kgs and 157.5 cms respectively.

• Minimum weight and height requirement for girls is 36 kgs and 144 cm respectively.

• Gorkhas, Assamese, Nepalese, and Garhwali should have a minimum height of 152.5 cm.

• Aspirants’ speech, height, skin, sight, hearing ability, infections, etc. will be thoroughly checked through examinations.
