The updated NEET syllabus for 2024 has been released by the National Medical Commission (NMC) on their website nmc.org.in. The revised syllabus includes changes such as the removal, addition, and modification of specific chapters and topics in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. It covers subjects from both Class 11 and 12, with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The purpose of this NEET Deleted Syllabus 2024 is to give candidates a clear understanding of what has been removed from the syllabus of NEET 2024.

NEET UG 2024 Exam is scheduled to be held on May 5, 2024. The NEET UG 2024 Admit Cardis expected to be released in the 4th week of April 2024. Students had many doubts regarding the deleted syllabus. As a result, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released a FAQ PDF on its official website @nta.ac.in and addressed all the necessary questions about the NEET Deleted Syllabus 2024. Owing to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, different School Boards chose to delete certain sections from their state board’s syllabus of various subjects. The removal of chapters was not consistent across different boards, leading to numerous appeals directed toward the NTA for reconsideration. Is the NEET 2024 syllabus reduced? 

Yes, the NEET 2024 syllabus has been reduced by the NMC. On October 6, 2023, the National Medical Commission (NMC) released the revised NEET syllabus 2024 PDF on its official website. Many students raised queries about the NEET deleted syllabus 2024, as several topics were removed from the new NEET syllabus.

Previously, there were 97 chapters in the syllabus, but in 2024, there were only 79 chapters. Later, the NTA addressed all the queries of students in a PDF. It stated that many state boards deleted certain topics and excluded a few units during the COVID-19 pandemic; hence, a few topics from the NEET syllabus were deleted to create uniformity in the syllabus among students across India.

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Raipur has released the NEET cut-off 2023 Chhattisgarh round 1 for 85% of state quota seats. For admission to the MBBS course at the Army College of Medical Sciences Delhi, a valid NEET UG 2023 score is necessary. The NEET cut off marks differ for various student categories (GEN, EWS, SC, ST, OBC, etc.). The 458 marks is a good NEET score if you belong to an OBC category.
